It’s been 16yrs this last April since I was introduced to CWT. I lived on here day and night before I retired. Met some really great people on here and made friend with so many. CWT stickers on most of my toys and worn out many coueswhitetail t-shirts. There isn’t enough time for me to thank Amanda, the friends I’ve made, all the help that made me a better hunter, and those I’ve never met in person but feel like we’ve been friends for years. Thanks again to all my CWT family members and friends. TJ

Thanks Amanda for posting. Tony was a good friend and I will miss him dearly. We talked frequently and he enjoyed sharing his cooking, on facebook, up to the end. I moved to Az in the early 70s and I read lots of his articles over the years. I had the good fortune to share his last hunt with him. RIP my friend. TJ

Thank you Andrew for your interest and submitting recommendations for the 2023-2028 hunt guidelines. I read all your recommendations. You definitely have a lot of good points, but with all due respect, I believe we have to be careful recommending some things because somethings usually never are reinstated once taken away. I’m referring to just a few things. 1. Eliminating crossbows as allowable archery equipment isn’t something I would recommend but I’m ok with tightening requirements for obtaining a crossbow. 2. I’m not in favor of restricting hunting over manmade water. 3. I wouldn’t recommend reducing archery elk season to 1 week. Like I said, once taken away, usually we never get reinstated what we’ve lost. Just my humble opinion. TJ🙂

Wow, this is amazing. Congratulations on a very nice ram. I’m pushing 70 and I better draw quick before I fall apart. TJ -
Congratulations on an awesome ram and thanks for sharing with us all. I’ve been putting in ever since I moved here from Ohio. There were a few years I couldn’t put in but have 28bp as of now. TJ

Major Changes/Proposed Changes/Recommended Closers It’s been happening to us hunters for some time now. Slowly but surely we are losing more and more hunt opportunities and just not archery deer hunts. There are many reasons I’m not aware of but I’m leaning towards anti hunting pressure rather than (Hard Data/Facts) from AZGFD. Just my humble opinion! TJ

I don't know if this has ever been brought up before but I was just wondering what funny things you have pulled on a hunting buddy or what funny things you've had pulled on you? There are so many but one that sticks out on my mind is: I use to like to leave the plastic wrapper on the cheese when I made a sandwich for my partners.

2 years ago my neighbor had their air conditioner replaced because of hail damage to some fins. Not much damage at all. He knew I needed one soon so I took it and was going to place it on my house. He had bought this new years ago and it worked just fine when he removed it. Short story is I got a good buy on a new one. I was going to put this on my house and it is still sitting in my back yard out of the rain. If you have need of this it's yours for the taking. Here is some information: Trane Model number- WCC042F100BB Heat pump refrigerant 22 built 2/96 480-833-1230 or pm. TJ

Thought I would take my fishing partner to Saguaro and spend some time on the water thinking about the up coming coues and elk hunt. We had a 30 boated fish day. Here are a few pictures of a great day with Missy. Hope you enjoy! Taking a break for lunch. Our competition! Finally found something to do with these antlers. doesn't get any better than this.

I'm wanting to buy a converter so I can post some of my old photos on here and to save them to my computer. I have looked at many in the $100 - $200 range but haven't seen any reviews that were very good. Does anyone here have one and what would anyone recommend buying? I have hundreds of pictures just sitting in boxes that I don't even look at any more and thought this would be a good way to pass the time while the forests are closed down. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks! TJ
