In Phoenix again on 11/28
-
I've never done it but there's info on YouTube and other sites on shortening the LOP on Tikka T3 stocks. Looks easy enough. If you buy a full size from Jim Blade or other and cut the stock then you'll get a 22" barrel instead of 20"

I just ordered some Peterson brass for mine!

I have an M77 tang safety 270 win I bought new in 1989. Dug it out of the safe recently to work up a load as I had only ever shot it with factory ammo before I started reloading. Started off intending to use 145 ELD-X or 140 Sierra GameChangers to take advantage of these newer projectiles. Used a comparater to determine cbto and learned I couldn't get anywhere close to the lands with those long bullets due to limits of the internal box mag. Wound up just going with 130 grain Hornady Interlock seated to the cannelure which was right at coal in my Hornady manual. Worked my way up with IMR 4831 and IMR 4350. My rifle did best with 55.0 grains 4350-1" at 100. After my brass was fire formed, I switched to neck sizing and using the Lee factory crimp die. This brought my groups down to .75 inches. Brass was once fired from mixed lots of factory ammo shot over several years out of this gun and my buddies M700 270. I sorted out a selection of Winchester brass that was all +/- 2 grains in weight, FL sized, trimmed, and started loading. Only shot it to 400 so far but haven't missed a 10" steel yet to there using a Nikon BDC reticle.

Can send photos if desired but they look like a new pair of Razor 10x42s and come with the box including all papers and the Vortex bino harness that was included from Vortex. $800 cash. Located in Dewey but will meet Phoenix buyers at Sunset Point rest area on I-17. If someone wants them shipped, I'll cover shipping within AZ including insurance for the sale value if payment is made through venmo.

Brand new. I sent in a 17 year old pair of signature compact binos for warranty repair and received these as replacement. I did open them and check them out. Nice but just can't replace compact binos with full size. They sell for $400 plus tax and/or shipping everywhere I see them for sale. $275obo. They have unconditional lifetime warranty to any owner, no proof of purchase or warranty registration required. Burris warranty is no joke. I'll cover shipping within AZ if payment is made through venmo. Located in Dewey but will meet Phoenix buyers at Sunset Point rest area on I-17.

Some friends have also rented from Ross and were happy. However, I agree with Eddie......buy something like the Viper 10x42 listed by moiscarpet for $400. If it doesn't work out that she wants to keep hunting, they would likely sell fairly quick for 350ish and you're only out 50 bucks. My friends rentals were more than that
