This post is totally spot on. We all need to call Jerry Weirs office and thank him, then find out how he is FIGHTING TO KEEP ANYTHING LIKE HB2072 FROM BEING ADDED AS AN AMENDMENT. Hold his feet to the fire. He may be one of our strongest helpers to kill this thing totally. The guy we need to thank is ZIM off monstermuleys. He got channel 3 to get engaged and ZIM set up the interview. I cant thank him enough. The t.v. interview, RMEF writing their letter against HB2072 and all of us flooding our politicians with opposition to "sale of big game tags" should hopefully kill this legislation. Apparently RMEF cant see the "big picture" either....LOL...I seriously dont know how anyone can feel comfortable with a Private group getting our public tags for free and keeping most of the money. Any of the really really intelligent guys need to explain to me why this is such a good idea. Basically AZSFW has tried to force getting free produc (tags), getting money from AZGFD up front to fund a new business venture (expo), get all their costs of operation covered from the tags and whats left over from the tag money generated they may give AZGFD 30% back 1 year later. Man, I want to start a business that way with zero cost of the product, unlimited ways to back charge AZGFD, and not pay for anything for 1 year. What an absolute joke...........Sure hope we kill this HB2072 and any form like it.......Allen Taylor..........p.s. Interview went well. Bill Mclane, Christine Smith, Mark Smith, Ryan and I were there. (Hunter smith-mark & Christine's grandson was there also). Crystal Cruz interviewed us and asked alot of questions. Got a phone call today. Apparently 60 people have responded to ADA's survey. Of the respondents, the votes cast are 30/30 split down the middle. It sure seems sad that only 60 members could take the time to respond........Anyway, ADA is still checking the mail to see if there are other responders...........Allen......

I believe Ada is waiting until the legislative session is complete. I think by dragging out this process of mailing out surveys, calling responders etc...they are able to not take a position until after we know what happens with the renewed hb2072 push. I know many leaders of Ada are only opposed to hb2072 'as written. that being said, they are not opposed to something similar that still would privatize a public resource by letting a private group have the public's big game tags.......there has been plenty of time for Ada to make their position known.......allen Taylor.....

I sent emails to the governors office expressing my concern about her joining forces with azsfw. they are behind the toxic bill hb2072......many voters will not like her being a part of azsfw banquet.....allen taylor

I am very interested in an organization like this. I joined az elk society because they stood up for hunters/wildlife. I also want a deer org to join. Ada has done tons of good in the past but now has not made their position clear in regards to privatizing wildlife, so if you guys make chapters covering the whole state, it would seem to be the type of org I would join and volunteer to serve on.....allen Taylor....

very great banquet. sure was good to see such a fantastic turn out. got to meet some people face to face that I have only dealt on-line with like Ernesto. saw alot of people who have have been fighting against hb2072 like stan durkalic, Mr. & Mrs mark smith, hector aka chef, hoal-mike, javihammer-ryan, others I know I missed.......good to see people people support a group that had the resolve to seperate from azsfw.....I sure hope as exceeded their fundraising goal.......allen Taylor.......
