I had my son turn in a November coues tag he drew, and then transferred my late Dec tag to him back in 2020. Wasn’t a problem.

It does say the leftover draw opens July 25th. Guess we can ASSUME that we will have results before then.

Is Arizona the only state that does not put out a for sure date? I understand some states release earlier than their posted date but they at least have a hard deadline to be met. Arizona could post results Aug 15 with no accountability Not that they would do that, but they could.

Participation would go up if they allowed us to send in our survey after the hunt was completed. The 2 times I’ve hunted the late rifle, they ask for the harvest report to be submitted by Dec 1. heck, I didn’t even know what dates I was gonna hunt by then, let alone when and if I was going to kill.

It wasn’t my kids app but a good friends. Deep down once I heard about them charging full price I knew he wasn’t going to the strip. I had a real hard time telling him about that but glad I did. He held out hope till the last minute though. I think me telling him lessened the fall from the top of the world he was sitting on for a few days.

For future reference and until the AZGFD fix their ever messed up system, you will be charged the full general price if you draw your 2nd choice as a youth hunt. WTF. guess it’s time to figure out how to get a refund.

😂😂. being 100% honest, I look forward to seeing what AZGFD can mess up each year. I get to tell my wife and family all about it over the dinner table. What I have a hard time understanding is it’s something completely different each time 😂😂

How much was the charge? Did you apply for a general hunt as well, or were they all youth hunts?

I saw that😬😬. I guess there is still hope that AZGFD would be charge them the right amount the first time. Never mind, I doubt they would.

Ok, Correct me if I’m wrong. Because his first choice was a general tag, they will take out $300 no matter if he drew the youth tag? Then after draw will be refunded the difference

His 2nd choice was a youth only hunt. $40 for non resident. Gonna be interesting once it becomes official.

Either a 11 yr old non-res drew a strip tag, or the AZGFD messed up his charges. Anyone hear of non-res youth tags being over charged? He has strip as first choice and a youth hunt 2nd. He has a $300 charge.

Has anyone had issues with the youth only deer tags being over charged? I got a neighbor that has a $300 charge He either got a non-res youth only tag or a tag on the strip. Hard to know with this goat rodeo that is going on.
