I havn't seen the map but read the Coconino has revised and published a new map. The article stated they did re-open some roads and revised their camping limits. -

Looking for Alaska advice on controlling mosquitos or trying anyway. Has anybody used the ThermaCell units? Those are the ones that use a propane cannister and heat a pad to keep the little bloodsuckers away from a small area.

Headed to town this afternoon to check Wally World if they have Thermcell I may bite the bullet otherwise I'll look for the heaviest deet content.

Field Judging Desert Bighorn Sheep-Ernie Meeske Unit 22 186 1/8 Net Ram
cosninocanines replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Thank You for a very informative post I've yet to draw my tag and have often wondered if I could score the rams I see effectivley. This to the point post will help for sure. I glass sheep whenever I'm in an area with sheep and always go off looking when I work on ADBSS projects I always concentrate on length and then if I get a good look at the distance between their horns what I think that might be. As you point out I need to be more concerned on the true mass to be effective. Thanks again for a great post. -
Anywhere but out looking for supper! The wall looks good and over a table's not a bad idea.
