Dam if that don't make ya feel just so humble and blessed, thanks for sharing your Dad's story, we need reminded every day is Veterans Day or we wouldn't have the country we have. I got pissed off at my class the other day while we were saying the pledge....they were being lazy and sloppy, gave them an over the top lecture on why they should be more attentive and appreciative they get to even say the pledge. Look how young your Dad is in that picture......dang.....I am going to make sure my 18 year old reads that story.

Always interesting to run into people who come from that area....I grew up in Animas. One of my best memories of playing basketball one of our road trips was Quemado on Friday night and Reserve on Saturday. After playing Quemado we would split up with families of the kids we had just played. They would take us into their homes, feed us and give us a bed to sleep in for the night. Next morning take us in to the school and we would load up and get to Reserve. The interesting thing is that because of the rural setting some of these families had to drive a long way to get to anywhere and yet they were gracious enough to help us be able to afford the road trip. Then that same year we played Silver City......lost to them at home and then beat them at their home...... I was a bench sitter....got to play when we were up by 20......there was no 3 point line or else I woulda been playing for the suns.....ha just kidding. My mom went shopping once a month up at Silver City, that is when I would put in my order for 22 shells and BB's at the Western Auto store next to Furr's. Great area to grow up................

We are never happy......one guy get cited for driving through the wrong unit with a bow in the front of his truck while another just gets a verbal warning for shooting wrong specie. Then there is that one guy who leaves his tag behind to be put on a bull that might be dead......... It happens and usually we are frustrated with inconsistent application of the law. If you have been tested by the inconsistent application of the law you tend to get more pissed off than the average joe.

Ford 150 ecoboost 4X4
Non-Typical Solutions replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in The Campfire
This is where I landed.....need to pull a trailer every now and then. Something that is interesting for me as I have researched these trucks. #1 - There ain't nothing out there that looks like my 79 Ford 4 X 4 which is the last truck I ever bought. #2 - My 79 Ford 4 X 4 never got 18 mpg and on its best day got 13 so anything these days pretty much puts that to rest. I was on a lot last Saturday looking at trucks and they put a young kid on me as my sales person. I felt sorry for him because when I looked at the dash of those new trucks I must have had that Oh sheet look on my face. 98% of what is on that dash did not exist on my Ford. Needless to say I am getting an education on new trucks and have a feeling me and a users manual are going to have to spend some time together. -
Just looked at some of these today, one was a 2013.....looks pretty sweet but wondering if anybody has driven one or has experience with them???

This caught my interest as my son has chosen a similar topic for one of his classes. I did a quick google looking for a picture I have seen of the guy with an anti gun poster standing next to the guy with the anti spoon poster cause he is fat. Here was the link I tried to go into.... if guns kill people, then do spoons make people fat? | Yahoo Answers https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid... Nov 4, 2013 - ... that if guns kill people, then pens must misspell words, spoons must make ... But let's take it a step further. .... Talking about spoons I am working on a bill to ban spoons and make 2 year probation for possession of spoons ? If guns kill people then don't baseball bats, knives, cars and all ... Aug 25, 2015 If Guns Kill People Then...? Apr 19, 2007 More results from answers.yahoo.com So I click into this link and this is what it took me to.... This question does not exist or is under review. It is a great topic for kids to get engaged with and learn about what really kills people and the laws that are already in place intended to protect us. Right now our society is upside down and bassackwards with no common sense. Somebody needs to get in touch with Yahoo and help them out they don't realize that this question does exist and the reviews are many!!!
