I agree, that fight or flight is tremendous accountability. Here at Snowflake high we have two teachers that are ex-cops and openly pack at our high school. It seems like a small investment for a greater cause. When I think about high fences and walls it makes me sad because I don't want my students to feel like they are in a prison.

What is your honest take on the idea of having trained teachers with a permit to carry on campus? I realize it opens a can of worms but I go through all kinds of "new" training for all kinds of things......and I'm not talking about every teacher but just a couple? Maybe? Watching that video makes me realize even more how important my classes are to me and how I would go through h3ll to keep them safe..........

My wife and I newly married moved to Flagstaff in 83, I was working for Anderson cabinet shop full time while attending NAU! A local that was working with me there asked me why I always had a boat hooked up and where I was going! I told him we were fishing Lake Mary every day after work!
