Interesting topic, I am not a big fan of alot of the slogans etc that now appear on tee shirts at JC Penney, stickers on trucks, Viagra commercials on TV or the radio now days .....things that degenerate society and the things my kids are exposed to. We had a truck in town a while back that followed the piss on ford or whatever.....instead it said piss on megre. I was very offended by the sticker, felt like if they hated the megre so bad they should go somewhere else. I told my wife I was gonna go bash the window in and leave them a note telling them to leave if they didn't like it here. She brought me back to reality like she always does and I didn't do anything........ If I go confront the driver it probably turns into a domestic dispute that gets ugly........ If I see it driving down the road it puts me in a fit of rage............. And then I just try to tolerate it.........

In an effort to relieve some of the pangs that have been haunting this site I decided to share some of my latest ventures working with antlers. It is antler season and I can't wait for spring break and a chance to go lookin. Night Lights For some of you old fogies some bolo ties. I have become obsessed

I put this bolo tie together for one of my brothers. He plays steel guitar and all other kinds of stringed instruments, started out with Bill Hallock and Cactus County in Phoenix way back in the late 70;s early 80's. Played with Kenny Chesney in his early years, Chad Brock and others. Can't wait for him to open the package, wish I could see the look on his face.

I am pretty sure I had a bear take a camera in 27 suppose it coulda made it that far??? I think I was thieved.......looked and looked for that sucker on the ground but no camera....

A great idea for baiting those drones into range. Cept one thing I forgot about......my wife....she catches me wandering around out in the woods with a beer can in my hand.............I am in trouble......

So if I wander around out in the woods with a beer can in one hand and a gun in the other is there a chance of luring one of those suckers in to shooting range???

No difference in any stand being left out for years other than this one looks like it came off that Famous Duck Show........you are walking out around in the woods and come across a lounge chair in a tree.....just looks trashy and not very responsible on the part of hunters.......... I must not hunt where people put up stands because I have never seen such a stand. I have seen ground blinds built out of sticks and brush but never anything like that........

I agree with hunting smaller game while trying to get drawn for big game opportunities. My youngest thinks that his turkey and javelina hunts will be recordbook stories for years. We put in for pig, turkey, deer and elk regular hunts. If we don't get drawn for anything then we go for leftovers and over the counter opportunities. If we don't get any big game tags we hunt coyotes, rabbits, fish, dove, quail and..............antlers....... I think there are lots of ways to keep kids positive about hunting as opposed to turning them sour on not getting drawn. Hunting coyotes and rabbits are great ways to teach kids how to shoot open sites or scope, focus on shot placement, know your target. Quail and dove are great because you can teach them open lanes, safe shooting lanes. Fishing is great for teaching kids how to catch and release.......sit back and enjoy a root beer and wait for the tug..... I love the great outdoors and spending time with my kids.......even my grownup ones..............

Some of those SHARK videos are pretty interesting those guys need to get a real hobby and try some hunting out.......
