Report this morning says maximum sentence on 5 counts, 6 months in jail and $50,000.00. Yeah, I bet that fire down south goes unsolved so they don't have to go find another shetland pony.....

Yes Brad Paisleys is definitely a great fishing song as well cept I am not that brave to say that to my wife....besides, My girl sure does like to fish.....so I just bring her along. I do like that song though......nice little collection of fishin songs for sure

Not a thing they can do to replace or repay so I say fine them with enough to make it hurt and then lets get on with the healing. I will go ahead and start the blame game.....FS needs to toughen up and get busy taking care of our forest and tell the save the world environmentalist to take a hike. Lets face it, if any of us were to run our businesses or our own personal finances the way the Feds do, we would all be in jail for not taking care of things.

This is a great song too........

Looks like fun, congrats on the bear....

I have been thinking about making that trip for Christmas, one friend of mine said they used to fish that Vasey's Paradise all the time but I don't know if I can make the hike. I have also been told that I could hike in at Jackass Canyon. I remember 20 years ago hearing about Jackass Canyon but never was able to make that trip but I am thinking that one might be one I could handle. Thanks for the info and the weblink.

Tommy, where is that at????? -
One bear met its end today in Snowflake. Rumor is a gal jogging met up with the bear and then some guy who already had a tag for this year called G$F to get the OK to take the bear out. Not sure if it was on the north side of 277 or the south. Maybe somebody else has better details. Here is the bear number: 1-800-970-2327 Definitely gonna pack a bear tag for my deer hunt this year....

After taking a second look at that deer picture, it doesn't look too healthy either. Bad water????
-
Looks like some of the coyotes that hang out around the pig farms north of Snowflake. Most of those dogs are mangy, rat chewed and sick looking from falling in the lagoons

He just got a little carried away with the single blade razor is all!!!

I have been hunting for 40 years and have never killed anything like some of the critters people on here have killed, and I am sure I can't shoot as good as most of them. But I sure do enjoy reading the stories, looking at the pictures, I love the trail cam section, that is just awesome to see the great animals we have creeping around in our state. Plus those lucky guys who have them coming in their back yard Keep posting the pictures and the stories...... -
While I was up in Alpine last week I went ahead and visited the FS office there to check on open roads up there. They have a large map hung on the wall there showing the "Proposed" access for hunting this fall. It shows three areas that are going to be completely closed for 1-5 years. One area is the Bear Wallow Wilderness area of course. Another is Escudilla Terry Flats area The third is somewhere inbetween, I didn't look close enough on that one but I bet it is Middle Mountain area but not sure about that. Anybody else seen that map??? The lady told me over and over that it was a "Proposal" and not yet been approved. One thing that was funny, I was asking about south of Strayhorse to see if I could go hiking down there. "Sir, the entire Apache-Sitgreaves forest is closed. I know there was no fire there but the entire forest is Closed!!!" Yes Ma'm............

Just like in the "Old West" ??

First off they are dang lucky it was 40 degree weather and not 110, and my bet is Grivalja is the one who spilled the beans...wait.....made up the story??? -
Good luck with that one. I think I am gonna set up a trail cam in my back yard and see if anything is slipping through on me.

Pick me up off the floor.....that is hilarious..... +1 on the spider legs or something similar....
