Next day, packed dry clothes in with us and did much better but!!!! Any recommendations on layers or coats and pants, socks, boots that can keep a body warm??? You guys must just be tougher than I am cause I froze!!!!!

Sierra Club is what helped me make a quick decision and that is what I preached to all that asked me about it. -
Nothing like some bonus sheds. Have you noticed how hard it is and distracting it is to look for sheds when you are really supposed to be hunting for deer??? I love it!!!

We set up a trail cam clear back in April hoping to locate some of the little ghost deer. We initially got alot of pics of some bucks but not really anything to get really excited about but we at least had some bucks and we were excited to get drawn for that unit. We checked cams about every two months and between bears and more bears we got more pics but still nothing too impressive. When we went in for our hunt just recently here are some pictures of some of the bucks that had shown up during late August/October. These next two pics I hate to say just drove us crazy. What a configuration on this deer. Question, is it mule or whitetail??? Check out the eye guards on this buck!!! We were unable to catch up with any of these beautiful bucks, much to our disappointment, but we still had a great time out in the hills.

If you will check out the bear section you will see that we had some issues with bears. We left without a camera out, but have hopes of getting in there before the snow flies cause we all want to see this guy hard horned!!!

Guess that is how you back up your site huh??? Proof in the pudding there, nice job. -
Just seeps, what is there is nothing but growth around the seeps. We just happened across them during some spring scouting we were doing in there and decided to set up a couple of cams. Like I said earlier, our first pictures were just average small bucks, but when we went in last week, these boys showed up. We have a year to chew over the whole mess and hopefully get tags again for next season......

Here's some real hope!
Non-Typical Solutions replied to bowsniper's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Go ahead, rain on my 2 second parade of hope! Mark PS: Remember, "gay" really means happy, not homosexual. The word "gay" was hijacked by the homosexual agenda to attempt to normalize the abnormal. At least we have Jan Brewer - who already said we will line up the lawyers to fight the 9th Thircuit Court of Degenerates. Where are the quakes and fires that SF deserves??? I agree, problem is if you don't have to be a citizen to vote in AZ then Goddard benefits am I wrong with that line of thinking???? -

Getting ready to try using a blind on a trail this year, first time ever. Starting to wonder about the things I should or shouldn't do. For example......is it bad to eat sunflower seeds while I am sitting there??? Eat a Payday???? Drink a Dr. Pepper??? Never done it before, any ideas on that kinda stuff???

New Hampshire Student Nipple Clamp Zap
Non-Typical Solutions posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
As an educator/woodshop teacher I found this article to be interesting. Reminded me that i needed to remind my students that the bandsaw will cut them if they stick their finger in it or any other body part!!! New Hampshire Student Nipple Clamp Zap: Blames Teacher, Warn of Dangers? By Jim Roberts Sep 1, 2010 A New Hampshire student used a nipple clamp to zap himself with an electrical shock and may have "permanent brain damage" and will now sue. It happened at school and he blames the teacher and claims the school should warn of the dangers of electricity and nipple clamps. Kyle Dubois is the student and he will sue teacher Thomas Kelley (the teacher has resigned) and the school and others. The accident happened in shop class in March. *** WBZTV reported the incident this way at that time: "School superintendent John O'Connor said 18-year-old Kyle Dubois was working on circuitry when he was shocked Thursday morning. He is part of the electrical trade program at Dover High. Dubois, a junior and a standout hockey player, was handling alligator clips to build the circuits when at least 90 volts surged through his body. He was knocked unconscious. "The student immediately passed out, went to the floor, our staff, the teacher, a student that was involved immediately started to perform CPR," said O'Connor. Dubois was rushed to the hospital." *** He lived and now the Union Leader reveals Dubois and his parents claim the teacher did not warn Kyle and other students how badly hurt they could be by electrical demonstration cords in their electrical trades class. The paper adds: "According to a suit filed in Strafford County Superior Court, Kelley encouraged Kyle to shock himself, even offering a Mountain Dew in exchange for doing so." The teacher denies offering the soda for the shock, but Fox News reports he has declined to comment on the lawsuit. -
