Pretty well said. I have wondered how we can send troops all over the world trying to help ourselves and others and yet we can't take care of our own border. Good post......... -
Boycott "Los Suns"

This is kinda the problem I am talking about. Because I want the playing field to be level, everybody towing their fair share of the load. You know, paying taxes, paying into the health issues, paying for education, not overloading an already overloaded welfare system. That gets me thrown into the "racist" . So it is OK to rant and rave about how racist I am but it is not OK to rant and rave about how Illegal somebody is. To say that "many of you would love it if there were no Mexicans here" is way out there. I don't think anybody on this site has come even close to thinking or saying that. It is about being legal and contributing to this country. Then to slam this site as "racial" would be like me saying that I didn't want any mexicans in this country. A severe misdeed to the site, just like it would be a misdeed to the mexican people. hunt4horns, "ethnic cleansing"???? What does that have to do with just being legal??? -

Amen. That is exactly the same thing. Free seats, free snacks, free merchandise for all illegals. Great business decision! Reckon Mr. Sarver could support those not supporting him and his team. I'm sure Mr. Nash could even play for free. It amazes me how celebrities and rich folks want socialism as long as THEY aren't the ones sacrificing for it. Amen +2 and well said..... -
Hoover, Truman, Eisenhower
Non-Typical Solutions posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Any truth to these numbers and events??? Got this from a friend of a friend of a friend so just wondering. I did google Operation Wetback and it supports the numbers but just asking: What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common? Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me. Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.. Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans. And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican Nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback'. It was done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them! Now...if they could deport the illegal's back then - they could sure do it today. lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself. Reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes... 12 million Illegal Aliens are depending on you! -

If I could have afforded to buy them in the first place I would put them up for sale you bet, a million a piece. Problem is I spend so d@m much of my money paying for health care, taxes and all that other stuff that illegals don't have to spend their money on I can't spend money on junk like Los Suns tickets........... Snap where are you, I need some blood thinner.........it is boilin over......... To keep my blood from boiling, I just punch a democrat between the eyes every morning. It makes me feel better thanks, that helped alot........... -
To quote the great Randy Ulmer, sorry Randy, "look where the antlers are!" Technically that is a misquote. In one of Randy's hunting articles he listed 10 steps to being a successful hunter and one of his steps is to "Glass where the game are." Try to think of where the animals might have been during the winter but have now started moving to summer grounds. Some years you can find them where they spent the winter, other years somewhere between winter and summer. Found some in the flats, some on the tops of ridges, some of them on the steepest side of a ridge you could imagine. Some of them in stuff so thick you couldn't imagine an elk fitting through. In Unit 10 you can walk for miles and miles and never see an elk, deer or an antler so make sure you try to pinpoint high concentration areas of where the critters hang out during prime time dropping....... Good luck out there and go find em......

Whats the problem??????

Something I think is funny is how Obama says there isn't time right now to take care of it because there are other issues more important........lets face it he don't want to tackle it cause it is going to cost him something when he decides to let them come and go as they please with some sort of amnesty thing.......cost him his job. Snap, it is hard to not start ranting and raving, I was looking at this section(political) and noticed that my soapbox is just getting bigger and bigger every day. Take for example pop singer from columbia shakira or some sort of name....she wants us to let the dream of immigration to continue by not supporting this bill.........what about the dream of being an American, where is that headed.....getting trampled on just south of us here, where is Bob Krentz's dream???? Hot hot......back of my red neck is burning....... -
Illegal Immigration Refrom

WOW gonna have to call that gal second top of the list there.....I went to school with her..... Lots of angles to the debate.....Texas is now on the band wagon, they want to pass a similar law... A Republican Texas lawmaker plans to introduce a tough immigration measure similar to the new law in Arizona, a move state Democrats say would be a mistake. Rep. Debbie Riddle of Tomball said she will push for the law in the January legislative session, according to Wednesday's editions of the San Antonio Express-News and Houston Chronicle. "The first priority for any elected official is to make sure that the safety and security of Texans is well-established," said Riddle, who introduced a similar measure in 2009 that didn't get out of committee. "If our federal government did their job, then Arizona wouldn't have to take this action, and neither would Texas." The Arizona law would require local and state law enforcement to question people about their immigration status -- and make it a crime for immigrants to lack registration documents. This Riddle gal on the news this morning said if she gets pulled over she has to show ID what is the big problem with that......then she went on to say, if it means packing a green card to document legality then do it and make sure you wear clean underwear in case you get in a wreck -

I knew I shoulda taken my camera yesterday. My wife invited me to ditch school with her 5th grade class as she does every year. Game and Fish has a program where they help teachers with field trips trying to get the kids interested in wildlife and in this case fishing. So my wife every year sets up with the local G&F to go to one of the local fishin holes with her class. Three years ago we froze our tails off at Silver Creek Hatchery, snow, rain and wind. Last year we went to a like up in Pinetop, caught a few fish and had a good time. They talk to kids about what kind of fish are where, what baits can be used and they give them a little demo on how to use a Zebco rigged pole. They provide poles, hooks, bait everything they need for the event. Yesterday we went to Silver Creek Hatchery again and man, they put on a show for those kids. Dumped a bunch of 6, 7, 8 inch trout into Silver Creek and then turned them loose with worms, salmon eggs and powerbait. We couldn't keep the fish off fast enough to keep those kids happy. 26 kids fishing, total after one hour of fishing 184 fish catch and release as best you can on trout caught on a worm A great day for the kids, they got a tour of the hatchery, got some fishin in. One of the things mentioned by the G&F guy was that they didn't have nearly as many schools taking advantage of their program this year. I am guessing budget cuts in schools are the problem. My wife gets her PTO to pay for the bus trip and G&F picks up the tab for fishing supplies. Great opportunity to show kids about fishing and our great outdoors opportunities. Ask you kids school teachers about it and get them signed up. Thanks again to Game and Fish.
