I think I am gonna throw up.............sounds like we all need to go back to Iran it is so wonderful over there.....

I thought it was appropriate when my boy asked if we could go shooting yesterday I told him heck ya. I had three batches of .17 Remington loaded up that I had been wanting to test out so we headed out to the range and took a few whacks at the target. My boy shootin his 7mm-08 that his aunt gave him for his birthday. A gun she had built for her but decided she was done hunting. Notice our sophisticated shooting bench. My .17 Remington, three seperate loads of three bullets each. I really am not a very good shooter, but was happy so I went home and loaded up 48 rounds now we are ready for some varmint hunting over turkey break. Thanks to all yall who have made this a possible event for me and my boys, we appreciate the lives and time spent on behalf of our freedom

What an honestly true blessing to go in such a manner. May his family be comforted knowing that he was in Gods beautiful country doing something that he loved to do. May we all live our lives to be so fortunate.

As I have been reading posts again this year about the illegal activity in our southern hunting units I began to wonder. What would they do at Martha's vineyard if illegals trafficked through there and left trash, drugs, toted guns, etc.?? What would our great Homeland Security do then? What would the White House folks think next time they went for a break in one of their favorite places to be on a weekend?

+1 on this one, specially look for burls. Contact tomgobbler on this site, he is real good about finding those burls.

And we wonder where all this money comes to buy an office for a president like we have. Fat cats paying themselves off with our tax dollars................

Although this may have dampened some hunting spirits, a well needed blanket of snow found it's way to Snowflake last night. Here is Daisy for the proof.

I am hoping that Greer got a bunch, we need that place to get packed with snow this winter. If we were guaranteed 3" of snow every time the wind blew 60 miles an hour around here that might be worth it. Hope that snow helped somebody find a nice buck today......

The shot was almost directly straight across. So we all had to hike down the hill and back up the other side .about 300 fett down in elevation then back up almost 400 feet in elevation , it took about 20 minutes.it was steep on both sides It is always easy getting up and down those steep hills when there is a critter down on the other side. Nice shot and congratulations.

Over the last couple of months I have noticed that my creditcard companies have sent out letters letting me know that my APR will go up to 26% if I pay my card off as I spend. I got an APS notice that my meter out on my property where I keep my chickens, horses and critters has had a very low usage over the last four months and they want to come at my expense to see if there is something wrong with my meter. They don't know that horses, chickens and critters don't really need lots of electricity. I feel that because I have always paid my bills I have ended up on a list that makes me the target. I have been profiled as a likely candidate to help pay off the stimulus bill. To hear that cell phones are being handed out to those who can't afford is a real big incentive for me to keep busting my arse to support those who aren't........................
