Having experienced a broad spectrum of both human and animal...........I have enjoyed working with very user friendly mules/horses/dogs and some that I wouldn't even mess with! Very enjoyable to have good animals! Requires time and consistent training, most people don't realize that when your dog doesn't run up and jump on people they got trained to be that way, it didn't just happen over night! When you have a mule that will stand while you throw a buck on its back and an antler pokes him in the side it didn't just happen over night, lots of time spent working with that animal to get it to stand still and not be bothered! One of my very first mule experiences happened in the Gila Wilderness as a kid, watching a mule run full speed ahead, bucking and wrecking every single supply that was on his back as he raced through the forest! We had borrowed the mule under the premise that he was pack worthy and well trained.......but we learned different! That happened on day one of a 7 day venture! Remaining eggs got rationed, and we ate fish we caught instead of the grand meals we had planned! I'm not putting all the blame on the mule.......we shoulda done a better job of packing things so they couldn't get so busted up....we were very rookie!!!

Well said, I really enjoyed having a schedule similar to my kids! Watched every football game, wrestling match, music recital, deer season, turkey season, elk, javelina and fishing trip! Wouldn’t trade any of it! Teaching ain’t for everyone and Lord knows it ain’t easy but it definitely has its rewards!

While I agree with most of the initial post, there are some great benefits from being a teacher, one of them is not lots of money and the other is not half the school year off! And yes I enjoy my career and have figured out how to live off of two teacher salaries that add up to what most would consider the amount of pay for one profession! I didn't walk out on Red For Ed because it ain't my belief or style and I am thankful my school district chose to keep working! I started out in 1990 at $19,000.00 a year, my wife the same so as a couple we made $38,000.00 a year! After 30 years I make $45,000.00 a year! Most professions comparable years of college plus 30 years would put me somewhere up at least 80-90K without my wife working! I have built cabinets, worked that pig farm, Home Depot, during the summers to supplement my "days off" from school teaching! I ain't saying things are right in education because I have my own personal beefs with the system but don't throw all teachers under the bus.........there's a bunch of really good teachers out there that spend a lot of time trying to make a difference in kids lives. I ain't complaining, just trying to shed a little light on money, days off and I don't doink the principal!

Snowflake in day 5 of in person teaching. Students had the option to online or in person and it was a very inspiring moment to see those kids getting dropped off Monday morning. Kudos to those parents who got their kids to school....without the kids it ain't nothing!!! I feel like it is the front lines of opening up and feel like teachers either gotta get after it or resign, kids mental health is important and this covid crap has been rough! I had so many kids come running up to me after they bumped start date....they were ready to get back to school!

It's kinda like what they say about serial killers......they love the attention, they want their name out there associated with something "great" NoBull still looking for attention for something "great" that his brother did which makes him "great" as well! Can't believe someone is proud of being liked for being a poacher..................but no surprise!!!!! -
Animal rights group offers $5,000 reward for information on who put 'Trump 2020' sticker on a bear Help Asheville Bears (HAB), an organization in North Carolina, has put out a $5,000 reward to find the person or people responsible for putting a "Trump 2020" sticker on the tracking tag of a black bear. Courtesy Shelia Chapman ▲ The Trump 2020 sticker was seen attached to the bear's tracking collar, according to photographs obtained by CNN. Courtesy Shelia Chapman ▲ Black bears will not be voting in the upcoming election, but that's not stopping one bear from unknowingly showing a little support for the incumbent president. Help Asheville Bears (HAB), an organization in North Carolina, has put out a $5,000 reward to find the person or people responsible for putting a "Trump 2020" sticker on the tracking tag of a black bear. "Whoever put these political stickers on these bears is cruel and heartless," HAB wrote in a Facebook post. "HAB and our followers hope to stop and expose you. This is now the second bear this happened to, which can only mean either someone in the study is doing this or it is someone in the public. Either way, a full investigation needs to be done." The bear was spotted and photographed by Asheville resident Sheila Chapman, who told HAB that the bear was spotted relaxing on her front porch last week. Chapman had previously come across a bear last year that had a collar and discovered that they were being tagged as part of a study by the organization The North Carolina Urban/Suburban Bear Study, Chapman told HAB. "I believe this is an abhorrent practicum" Chapman told HAB. "These bears are already suffering enough with the heavy collars and metal ear mutilations. But to put a political sticker on the collar? No words can describe my anger and sadness." Dr. Chris DePerno, who is part of the bear study program, told CNN that the researchers do not condone "anyone approaching a bear for any purpose" and called it "highly unethical to place any sticker on an animal." "Unfortunately, someone has habituated this bear to the point where it has lost its natural wariness of people, allowing this person to place the sticker on the collar," DePerno said. "The person that has helped this bear become food dependent and habituated is putting humans and the safety of the bear at risk." A story in the Asheville Citizen Times reported a resident finding a Trump sticker on a collared bear back in September 2019. It is unclear if it is the same bear or a different bear that Chapman photographed. https://bit.ly/31gJO3a

This line kills me............. "I believe this is an abhorrent practicum" Chapman told HAB. "These bears are already suffering enough with the heavy collars and metal ear mutilations. But to put a political sticker on the collar? No words can describe my anger and sadness."

I was wondering how much Trump campaign might send me if we committed to having all game collars with a sticker on them

Driven a Ford all my life, looking at jumping Ford ship and seeing what Dodge does for me! Anybody that can give me any information I appreciate it......what is the difference between the Dodge Classic SLT 1500 and the Dodge Ram BigHorn 1500? Don't laugh.......but both of those will have at least the equivalent pulling power as the F150 Ecoboost right
