Through the years I have built each of my boys a bed! Somehow on boy #4 seems I was busy chasing wrestling or hunting or fishing with #4😳! He left home a year ago and ......... I put his bed in his room today!!!! Probably even too small now! Is it okay better late than never?

Baby if the family left last June and I started this bed 6 years ago and finally finished it this week!!!I am a prolific procrastinator!!

Honestly that is exactly what I told my wife!It looks exactly like a frisbee soccer goal! It is at Becker Butte Lookout on the north side of Salt River Canyon! Strangest thing if you look down to the bottom I swear that water is going the wrong direction!!!

Great job getting out with your Dad.......

Are 1 and 2 not the same? Yup.....the same!!! Churches and marriage......both way out there at like......2000 yards, I'll go ahead and sneak up and get closer and some will shoot from a long distance....to each their own.......I do love hunting and fishing with my wife and some of my most spiritual experiences have not been in a church....which I do attend regularly. And my church donation makes it easy to tell all other door bangers that I already contribute to a reliable non-profit organization! #1 and #2 Digging that grave for my father in law along side my son was pretty spiritual experience as was building his casket....neither happened in a church!!! Lots of great church experiences outside the walls of a building! Hope you had a great time at the retreat.......can't knock somebody trying to make life better!!!

Art Dillman became my father in law back in 83! Spent many outings hunting, grilling and shooting a lot of bull! Art passed away June 1 peacefully at the age of 82! Worked til the day he died! Hard nosed as hockey sticks and give the shirt off his back for you! Art asked me 5 years ago to build a casket for him and then two years ago he scared the crap out of us so I hurried home and put a casket together for him! RIP old man, you were tired and have moved on to the other side!

Art didn't want a viewing so I just kept the lid one piece!Building a casket for someone you care about is a pretty spiritual experience and in this case since he was still alive fun cause I got to send him pictures! The hinges on the other side are just loops of rope stapled in! My boys, Penny's husband and I dug the grave and covered it up! Nothing on that casket is patented so feel free to steal any ideas, I just tried to make it fit the man!!!
