We went up to Escudilla middle of March to see how far up we could go......huge tree across the road right close to the top/snowline......4 wheeler tracks bailing off the side to go around the uprooted tree base!!! Like said earlier.....if you are going to backroad the burn you better have a chainsaw!!!

Driving along the shore line of Lake Ontario, at the right time of year, every little trickle of water can have some bigazz trout/salmon running upstream to spawn, NY and Canada have released so many different strains into the system, there are only a few months out of the year that fish arent running somewere... (You can also get a handfull of Deer tags EVERY year(Bow(1any deer) Rifle (1buck with 2doe tags)Muzzleloader(1any deer)Landowner tags alotted for our land in Orange Co. NY (200'ish (any Deer, ALL year)... Guess I am gonna have to let my wife go visit NY afterall.......as long as she lets me we a line while we are there!!!

Good point brademan.....but in an effort to teach my kids how the internet can have good things and bad things in so many different ways it is always nice to be able to refer them to sites that promote things that are important to me and my family and also reinforce values that have been taught them at home. This site happens to be one of those site that I continue to support and enjoy because of the atmosphere it promotes. If trying to support this site means trying to stand up for values that are important to me makes me a snowflake or less a hunter then so be it! I'm not butthurt, just interested in maintaining something that is important to me! Now if I ad give me a F'n break.....does that make my post more meaningful or less snowflake?? I have visited many other hunting sites that you can go visit and there is no "filter" right???

True.....but if it was your camp that would be my problem. If you came into my camp using the language displayed on this thread I would ask you to leave camp! Without using vulgar language!! Having said that I would enjoy bumping into anybody on this forum out there in the woods to share a campfire discussion because we all love to hunt and hunting is what this website is all about even though we get tangled up in little spats over language, trail cams, flat brim hats, ATV's and like DB said.....the list gets bigger every day!!!
