Bellota...I can't thank you enough for pointing me in some general directions. You are welcome at my camp anytime. I am pretty new here as well but, there have been some great guys on here...between you and them I now know I will have some great areas to get my son on his first deer. I will post up the pics as soon as he knocks one down!!

Nice lookin set-up...Good Luck in Oct. Just picked up my son that tri-pod without the back brace...I might have to look into that for him...he is pretty good off of the tri-pod though. Can't wait until Oct. 5th!!

Nice! I went out with my boys this morning...first time ever. Didn't see anything but I really didn't expect to. Got my boy shooting his 243 out to about 250yds at little rocks...that kid can shoot! Can't wait to get some dogs comin in though...then the real test will begin for him.

Thanks guys...this is exactly what I was hoping to learn. I will be trying to get down there a couple of times and it is good to know that I can use the quads to help get around to learn some of it. I imagine the 1st trip will be just a get to know the area type trip so I will be flying around on the quads to seek out some likely spots. I will give an update on what I see/find out in the next couple of weeks. Again, Thanks to all those that have helped out! Spencer

Thanks! He is pretty excited! getting him out this week to make sure he can reach out there a bit if needed. He is a pretty good shot so I think if we can find one we should be able to take one home. We deffinetly don't mind walking a bit to get away from the crowds. I am gald to hear this is a pretty good tag though. Thanks again for all of the help!
