I was lucky to find a few this year and a cool set. Hopefully after turkey season we can get out and find few more.

Hi, My name is Ashlyn and I'm 12. I went turkey hunting for the first time. I got up at 3:30 opening morning and got into my camo. We got there at around 5:20 and it was still dark outside. We were walking up the hill and I was holding a flashlight shaking. My dad was getting ready to call and stepped on a pine cone and 4 turkey's gobbled really close. I had never heard a turkey gobble before it was so cool! We set up the decoys and sat up against a tree and my dad began calling. We heard one fly down and my dad said Ashlyn, he's right behind you don't move. I was facing my dad so if I moved to see the turkey I would scare him. Then I saw him and I was in amazement as I looked at him. My dad said get on him as he strutted in to the decoys. I followed his head and shot and he dropped down, I killed him! I was so happy I cried! That was the best thing ever! I cant wait till next year. Thanks dad!

I am looking at buying a used pair of swarovski 15x56 binos and was wandering if you had to be the origienal owner to maintain the manufacture's warranty?

It rained all night and has been raining all day here in Flagstaff.

I was drawn for a December whitetail tag with 7 bonus points. I was not able to hunt until 2 days after Christmas. With not a whole lot of time I was hoping that the rut would be in full swing. The 1st morning we went to an area that we knew held some good bucks. We started glassing and found 2 herds of elk feeding on a ridge 7 to 8 hundred yards away. One of the cows spooked and blew the whole ridge out. That afternoon we went back and started glassing and found a couple of does feeding 3 ridges over. We decided to come back in the morning. The next morning found us on top of our vantage point glassing. We spotted a deer feeding 3 ridges over, it looked like a good buck. We came up with a game plan, and the stalk was on. I was able to get within 250 yards and made a good shot, the buck went about 25 yards and laid down. I shot him in his bed and it was over. We made our way over to him, as we got closer he seemed to get bigger, there was no ground shrinkage on this one. Not bad for my first coues. I want to thank AZyoung for helping on this hunt!!

Hi Amanda,I spent the first four days hunting a group of nice bucks that I had been watching close to home. The first morning I had some hunters chase them out of the country, so I spent the next three days trying to locate them with no luck. I thought I would try another area that I have had success in the past. At first light I glassed this buck and a smaller buck feeding. I watched them bed down in a small group of pines. I tried two different stalks on them and they busted me both times. They moved across a large meadow and bedded down. I waited until they got up to feed & they started to feed back to the same place I had spotted them that morning. I was able to move around and cut them off. He gave me a great shot and went thirty yards. I am very happy with him, but I also burned a 36A whitetail tag ,

Hello everyone, this is my first post but check out Coueswhitetail all the time. This is my archery deer I shot this year. Found a quite spot in unit 7. I hunted this buck all day. Finally gave me a shot. aznighthawk
