It says not for use with steel shot is the Remington a steel shot? So you say a 25 to 30" spread at 30 yards is not good? I am saying all the pellets are in a 25 to 30" circle and they are pretty condensed. How condensed of a pattern do I need? 10" at 30 yards? That's what I got was the Remington load. I had patterned the Remington 2 3/4 load but that only has 27 shots and the 3" has 41 so I will have to get back out to the range to see what I got with the new load. My choke is Modified but don't know much about chokes. I know at about 30 yards with the 27 shot load I get about a 30" inch circle which I would believe is good right?

12 guage helps with that alot, especially if they are in and out quick. I know I am now carrying a shotgun to each location. I usually have them hang up out at a distance but not now. I grabbed some number 4 buck shot 3" shells for my mossburg ulti mag. Maybe I can get the job done now. LOL

Last year towards the end of the Spring bear hunt I had a bruiser coming in for the last 2 weeks to a water source. He came in every evening at 7:00 pm exact. We sat there the last 3 days and never seen him. I have the worst luck with bears (VERY BAD LUCK).

I heard from our local WM about a Bear (boar) being taken in 24A. So some are out.

Okay lets say party "A" put in for 5B north with CC and results were posted he got drawn BUT later his cc was rejected (insuff funds). Now applicant "B" put in for 5B north as well and he is the next in line and his draw results say Not Drawn but being A got rejected they then give it to B. Now B thinks he did not get drawn but low and behold his tag shows up sometime in April and he is happy dude. I don't know how they are going to do it but it seems they are trying something new this year.

I bought a foxpro fiestrom and topped it with a fox jack and wow first timeout yesterday I had a fox come running right up to the call then run off to my left it all happened so fast I did not have time to shoot. I am about 1:5 right now. I noticed if you use more coyote vocals (female) it brings them in a little faster then the ol rabbit in distress. I called in 2 at my last stand yesterday using only vocals and man again I really need to work onn my setups because I had no time to shoot and they were on top of me fast. I alot of times opt not to shoot just to see how they act and react.

Yes the warranties ALWAYS transfer with Leupold. I know because I just bought a Illum 1.5-5x24? mark 4. When I called them they said if/when I send it in that I just need to include all my info and they will change it then.

Thats what I did. I took the class 22 years ago and heck have no idea where mine is so I just requested a new one and the nice lady sent me my duplicate. Just take a copy of it and make sure you get the application from DPS (call them they will send it to you). I requested everything last friday and already have everything in hand.

Okay I was going to take the class to get certified the other day and asked what the 100.00 was for. He told me for the training and he does the fingerprint and helps you on the application. He said I would have to send in 60.00 to get the permit. So thats 160.00 I would have spent. But anyone who knows me knows I have tons of time on my hands so I did some researching and found out that there are lots of different classes you can go through to get you certificate for the permit and guess what one of them classes are? HUNTER SAFETY course!!!! Yes if you have taken hunter ed all you need is the application (from DPS) and to get finger printed. So I asked the nice lady at DPS can I still get mine since I had taken the class 22 years ago and she said yes. So now I have to spend 60.00 for the permit and is good for 5 years and 20.00 for the finger printing. So I just saved 80.00. I thought I would let you all know about this since nno one really tells you these little details. So if you have a hunter ed cert. go get your ccw permit. There are lots of perks to a CCW permit.
