A 308? Are you kidding me???? What kind of moron does it take to be a 308 man for life?? Elk? Are you serious? Has'nt anybody told you that the 308 is undergunned for hunting elk. Oh crap! I have just been informed that I am a 308 fan. your a funny man.

It sounds like your PC board took a crap. It should be about 150.00 to fix it which is not bad considering the new 140sp lincolns go for 600.00 otd.

Yes they can. Use corn up there or some blocks of trace mineral and regular salt. I would put all three out and see what they like the best.

I just got my rug back from Wild Heritage Taxidermy in Yong, AZ. I won a free mount last year for the biggest archery buck from Coueswhitetail.com and already had my buck mounted so I decided I needed a Javelina Rug. So what do you all think. Thanks for the mount Dale and Heather.

Out of all the rifles I have ever had and shot I am now a .308 man for life. You can shoot out to what ever range you want and get bullets all the way up to 210 grain if need be. A .308 is an Elk, Coues, Coyotes, and on and on gun. There is absolutly no recoil compared to a 30-06, 7mm, and 300 rum. Get one you will not be dissapointed. I just bought the M1500 Howa varminter heavy barrel and topped it with a vortex viper scope and I can get under .50 at 100 yard groups, and hit 4 inch groups at 800 yards. It is a to die for gun just at 1100.00 to your local gun shop. Good luck with that 300 RUM.

Ya thats the white one Amanda. If you lift the hairs you can see PURE white. I guess last year there was alot of them turned in.

New Guess the Score contest

CAN I GUESS? LOL Great buck CJ. I love the way he looks. Congrats again buddy. -
I was finnaly able to get my gun all the way out to 800 yards the other day but in all truths I would get as close as I could to take the shot. Now if I saw the buck at 1000 yards and decided to go after him and the closest I could get was 600 I would shoot because I feel confident that I know I can hit my spot "BUT" if the wind was high or I could not just get still no I would pass and come back the next day to get it done. I am NOT LAZY but I know I could easily hit that deer at 600 and could get closer I would get as close as I could before spooking the game. I am pretty sure that is what everyone would do. You are not going to say "hey that bucks only 300 yards lets BACK TRACK and get to 700 yards to take the shot". That just would not make since. Leave that shooting to the targets. Just my opinon.

Congrats to the boys Jason. Looks like dad is teaching them well. Well done.

willhunt4coues replied to hunter1026's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
High 90s would be a great guess. If his eye guards were taller he would be just over 100". Great buck and since you are done you can PM me withh the spot and I will take him out for you. LOL -
Here is my dads pig from 2010 ham 24a blackpowder pistol. I don't know what kind but I will ask him and get back with ya all.

Hey Amanda call my dad he shot a Javelina with his last year. He wanted a bow shot but got tired of trying to hit one he pulled out his old revolver and hit that pig in the head. Funniest thing I have ever seen. He is planning on going out this week and somewhat sighting it in (you can't sight them in) so really see where it is shooting so he knows. Maybe you guys could go out together and he can let you shoot his. He is going to use it again on this ham hunt this year and I may try it if I can pry it from his hands (it is old and very expensive/still new).
-
Amanda you have to take your bow next time. That sounds like archery heaven.

Congrats on some great animals. Way to get er done.
