It shoots the 168 Gold Metals great. I don't know now if I would change at all how good it is shooting.

Your 1-12 T will shoot anything from 125gr to 208gr. With the 208s you may need to get your speed up 2600fps for the bulets to stableize. Cool thanks for the info. I am shooting the Federal Gold Medal Match 168 hollow points. Has anyone taken an animal with it? Should I use the Federal Vital Shock 165? They have the same drop till you get out to 800 900 & 1000 they are a little different but I can compinnsated if I decide to go that far.

I was told I needed a 165 or 168 in my 20" 1 in 12 twist .308. That was a gunsmith and a gun store that told me this. My gun shoots great with this ammo and even if someone told me to shoot 150 I wouldn't because they actually drop more at further distances.

Okay I just bought a HOWA VRMT 308WIN 20'' HB 1:12 twist 4RD BL HOGUE and I ordered a Vortex Viper 4-12x40 bdc 1" scope. Now my question is, I got the scope from Sportsmans Warehouse (thank god I found one because they just discontinued them) but I found that the 6-20x44 viper 30mm bdc is the same price. I plan on being dead confidant out to 800 yards. Do I really need the 6-20x44 or should I just stick with the 4-12x40? What should I do take it back and get the more power or 12 is enough? I need yourguys experiance that have had these 20 and 12 power scopes. Thanks in advance.

Well I have no pics but it shoots 1/2 groups at 100 yards (bullets were touching each other measured from outside of a 3 shots). I did shoot at 200 and 500 and it hit the mark. It is a sweet gun and it sure is a tack driver. Now if I can get a yote with it then I wil have first blood for the new toy.

THAT IS A GREAT GUN especially for the price. The rifle is worth 500.00 to 600.00. The stock is about 150.00 and I don't know the scope but I am betting about 400.00. I just bout the Howa 1500 bull 308 20" with the Houge stock and a vortex viper and it set me back 1200.00 total. so yes if you would have posted this a week ago I would have bought it. dangit. Do you want to sell the axion stock and if so how much?

Alcohol is far worse than weed. Tax it get out of US debt, stop a lot of the cartels from there crap (because 95% is because of pot), lots of violence comes from Booze and what does weed do? LOL Just like booze back in the day was illegal and the cartels were running it back and forth and people running across the border to get booze. They got smart and legalized it and taxed it and the cartels stopped but guess what they are back now lets do it with weed but next the cartels will be back to coke or meth but that won't be for a decade or so. I have lots of friends that smoke and I don't see nothing against it heck I used to back in the day all the time but I stopped and anymore when I have in the past tried it again I did not like the PARANOID feeling I got so I opt not to do it just like beer. Ever now and then I have a couple but I don't like the heart burn. To each his own. I think it is good that they did it for medical use because like any other drug/medicine if the patient needs it give it to them. just my 2 cents.

Thats okay I have had the diamond back vortex and the BDC is dead nuts and great glass. I have even looked at the ziess and vortex side by side and at low light the vortex was better. Dont get me wrong ziess is good but why pay extra for NO reason. Thanks for your input.

Congrats buddy....now you got some meat. Jeremy has an A++++++ shop thats for sure. Cleanest in the state I have seen. Dang road hunters need to get their feet wet. It will catch up to them sonner or later.
