Man was it a great hunt me and Rick (double buck) tagged out the first day and my friend Ozzy tagged out this morning. We saw my buck as soon as we got to our glassing spot so me and Rick headed out to get closer. We got set up at 400 yards and my first shot hit a little far back, after 1 miss he finally tok one to the mid back and dropped in his tracks. After Rick shot his Rick and ozzy got Ricks back to the jeep and we took a rest and headed up after mine. When we finnaly got to mine he was still alive so I took one more shot and put him out. He tapped out at 86 1/2 and grossed 84. I tell you what when I shot that whole hillside came alive. I have never seen so many coues. We believe the buck Rick and I shot we had seen in there on a previous scouting trip.

He was already sparring with Ricks buck and 2 others. Man there was alot of pre rut activity going on and believe it or not look at his neck we think he may have been in rut but I was not going to wait to see I just wanted to take him down. There were 2 does there too and 1 2x2 and 1 nice 3x3 plus mine and Ricks. It was amazing all the activity that was there on that hill side. Beds everywhere and sign and tons of trails and tracks. I am going to name this hill crazy coues mountain.

That is GREAT news that she is doing better. Poor little girl has been through alot. Prayers do work.

Here is my new camo job on my H&R .308. I did it with an airbrush and the krylon camo paint. My 22-250 H&R I will do with the Dura Coat just need to save up the money. LOL

The USFS I was talking about is Tonto. I have seen personally 4 different employees with the tonto that sets out salts. I just think the 2 (AZGFD & USFS) need to get together and make sure these issues are resolved.

Just like they told me (Forest service) that it is illegal to put salt out. Did you know that? I laughed at them in person and pulled out the regulations and showed them. They said it was illegal still. So I told them to show me in their regs where it says that and they said you will have to look it up online. Needless to say I never found anything.

So I found a cool rock up elk hunting in 4B and I kept it that means i am in trouble? what about your vehicle a rock in the tire is that illegal? Are you serious? I can see a saguaro cactus but a rock?

This was about 2 years ago when me and my dad were jav hunting. We pulled up to this spot got out got set up and started glassing like 1000 yards away. We had just pulled off the dirt road and had part of the jeep in the road. Well darned thing happen we were sitting there and I go to move to get a better set up and there were pigs on the other side of the jeep walking up the road 10 feet away. I could just see that if someone was watching us they were saying TURN AROUND DUMB A$$E$. That day I never did get to shoot at one. LOL

So what happens if they get a "B"? I can understand being strick on Ds and Fs but only an "A"? As long as my kids get good grades (a,b,c) then that is fine but no Ds or Fs.

An education ALWAYS comes first. Don't be so hard on your dad he just wants the best for you and if that means taking away the things you love then by god he has all rights to do it. Think of it this way if you get bad grades you get a bad job which in tells you get crappy hunting gear. Now you get good grades and a great job you can go hunting in Alaska or where ever you want. I did not do so well in school but I did land me a decient job but man it does take a long time for me to buy something nice. Heck we live pay check to pay check. Trust me bud school only lasts so long but after it is done you have the rest of your life to hunt. Stay possitive and get thise good grades so you can play.

I have the Duracoat paint with airbrush and whole kit coming but I bught my own Airbrush. Check out this website you can do some crazy camo jobs. It also has a self lubricant to help the gun. I like the wrap you guys are talking about but it seems this is a little more permanent if you read up on the dip compared to the paint.
