First Coyote New Call

H&R 22-250 bull barrel single shot topped with a nikon coyote special scope. SWEET and very accurate gun. I bought it with the Thumb hole cinimon laminate stock but I put that stock on my 308 and ordered the varminter atock for this gun. -
This was my boy Zacks first fishing trip. We didn't catch any fish but man he sure did have a good time. My wife Misty sure did have a good time too she LOVES to be on the boat.

I hit her perfect and she would not stop. A couple of years ago my dad had 5 arrows in one and he was still chasing my dad. I LOVE TO PIG HUNT. The addrenalin is the best.

This was my first coyote with a bow. First stalk on a coyote and first fobbed coyote. My dad and I had not seen any Javelina for two days and it was getting to us. For 5 years I had shot my Javelina within the first 3 days and man I thought it was not going to happen this year but low and behold it did. We had only saw 2 but I only needed 1. I snuck to within 20 yards and let the arrow rip and I thought I had missed. She only ran 25 more yards and was just standing there. I let another Fobbed arrow go and I heard that wonderful thump. She ran about 75 yards and started to do circles. After sneaking closer from 60 to 50 to 40 I thought for sure I would hit her and I missed. She ran another 40 yards and laid down. Now my dad started sneaking up the hill to get a shot at the other one that was 5 yards away from mine. He got to 48 yards and let one fly but missed. The Javelina just slowly worked its way up and over the hill with my dad in tow. Now with them out of the picture I made my way up the other side of the hill that mine was on and peaked over just to see mine still alive laying there. WHAT THE HECK. I had shot this Javelina perfect behind the shoulder through and through. But they are tough. I snuck back a little, I did not have a clear shot and moved up the hill just a little and had a clear shot as I topped the hill again. When I topped the hill all of her hair from her head to her butt raised and man the addrenalin was pumping then. I pulled my Bowtech Allegence bow back and remembered what my dad said, "If you are too close aim down the arrow." WAS THAT A BIG MISTAKE. I shot over her back 6 inches. So I knocked another and aimed and yep another miss a close miss but still a miss. I looked at my arrow yes I did say 1 arrow and knew this one had to count. I drew and aimed LOW this time, shot and she was down for the count. Wow I had my biggest pig within 3 days and with the FOBBED arrow a first on the pigs. She had 2 INCHES of fat yes I said 2 inches of fat and the BEST hide I have ever seen (it was almost all white). She was about 50 lbs and BEAUTIFUL. Thanks dad for always being there to see my excitement and thanks mom for letting me go when I was young and all the encouragement you guys have given me. I hope I can do the same for my kids.

First Coyote New Call
willhunt4coues replied to willhunt4coues's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
NO distortion like all the other calls and it is loud. The sounds are studio grade quality and if you ever hear one it will send chills up your spine like the animal is right next to you. This yote I have been trying to call in forever and it happened the first time with this call. I started out with a yote comunicate and changed to a young challenge call. Then switched to some crow calls to get them in the area to look more natural to the dog. I had 3 crows come in and start fighting up above us. Next I switched to the rabbit in distress and went back to young coyotes fighting and back to the rabbit in distress and he came flying around the corner and ran right up to the call at 5 feet and then turned. I tried to stop him but he knew he was screwed. One shot from the 22-250 and he was down. If you are ever in the area I have the call with me at all times and you are more than welcome to come by and hear the sounds in person. I am at US Airweld in Miami, AZ. -
