Treestandman wrote: I still can't believe that magazine posted the unit and a detailed map showing the detailed area of where this toad was killed. Scan the detailed area and post it.........IT SHOWS A MAP OF 24A not the place or even 5 mile area of where he killed it......WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS......I hunt this area and only this area and it does not bother me at all even if he did give the coordinates......Why don't you guys give it up already......man this is why people leave this forum......BASHING and name calling needs to stop.....come on you guys we all share a same intrest in COUES hunting so lets all just have fun and stop the SH*T. You should all be so lucky to have a trophy like that......instead of giving him crap why don't you ask how he hunted this beast and maybe you already know the tactics and maybe you will learn something. See the problem is when someone asks for advise everyone gives them SH*T but all they want is some advise (how to glass, shooting technics, stalking advice, ect ect ect) they don't care about YOUR spot they just want to learn and that is what this website is suppose to be about. This BASHING HAS GOT TO STOP!!!!! I have not posted too much because what is the point I may get bashed on I know of lots of people on here and almost every single one including me has been bashed on......come on you guys lets have some fun and if you want to speak you mind in a bad way PM them or just hold it in. We are now giving hunting a bad name. I did enjoy this site when I first started and it was nothing like this....lets come together and make it better than ever!!!!!

How to stop (or decrease) trail camera theft.
willhunt4coues replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
First I always Hide another cam way up in the tree so if they do get through the bear box and cable then I have their picture. BEAR BOX AND CABLE is one of the safest ways to go and Amanda sells one for the covert 1 and 2 in the store and you can also get them for all the other cams just get on Ebay and follow the link out. Sorry for your loss I just wish everyone can see a cam and wave and leave. Just my 2 cents. -

Heck you all seen my 11 point I got last year........in my books thats a 44 point buck -
You can always have someone make you a ladder or you can by one with the money you saved. The harness is a climber harness. But like switchback said a ground blind might be better. I bought one just because I already have two blinds and wanted something for a back up. It's up to you though. Just giving you all the deals we all look for.

You got it little buddy.......It is fully loaded and ready to go and the cool thing is if someone steals it oh well.

Sports mans Guide has the guide gear for 39.00......yes I said 39.00 you get the tree stand, harness, straps, and a cd for 39.00 Check them out.

Okay here is my question to all of you: lets say you find a nice water hole and your camera has been there for months and you have nobody on camera and no vehicle/quad tracks in the area. Then one afternoon you are setting up your blind and think hey that tree would be a great place to set up a tree stand then there it appears. Now everytime I have gone in this place I have never seen that tree stand because of the time of day. So today when I went in to set up my blind I see it clear as day because of the sun. This is a metal tree stand so I climbed up the tree and took a look at it. Now this thing is not in bad shape but you can tell it has been there for awhile and it is locked. I am thinking by the faded lock and staps and seat it has been since August of last year. 1)I still set up my blind but now is that tree stand considered abandoned? 2)Also would you still have set up your blind? 3)First come first serve right? But that means I can set one up and use it 3 years from now and if anyone else moves in they are wrong? So if I get there before they do I get to hunt correct? 4)Did I do right by setting up my Blind? Tell me what you would do if you or have you stubbled upon this.

Well I have decided to just go there and if someone is there than we will leave and if we are there and they show up I guess I would expect the same. Thats sportmanship/ethics.

Here are a few pics to get you going.

game retrieval w/ horses any interest?
willhunt4coues replied to tomgobbler's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
That is a great Idea but you are now making money on forest service land (I thought it was our land) but if you even have a pancake breakfast out in the hills they will charge you a percentage of your profits and you will need a permit. You may want to look into it first before ya get out and may get into trouble. You may also need insurance first before you can even get your permits. -
Sweet thanks for sharing.

I bought a used pair of 15x56 from t1007 and had the warranty trasfered into my name by registering them on the internet. T1007 did call swar. and told them he would be selling them to me. It went smooth. Oh and T1007 thanks again they are the best!!!!

See the problem is that the people that are jelous will usually start crap or spread roumers about something so small and throw it out of proportion and the other people that are NORMAL usually think that this is the crazyest topic there ever was. To all their own.

Clay, I'm thinkin' you should add that to your Résumé..... I'm sure that those comments will move you to the front of the line with every Outfitter in the state! After all it only takes 3 crisp $100 bills to get that guide's license! Never mind all the really good guys that hunt that country and bust their tails that are now looking for a new "spot"... Hope it is one of your 100's of spots! Your "new" hunting buddy hit a home run on this deal... Glad all that country burned up... it might make this Flub a bit less painfull for all the good guys that love those hills. Nate, You need to man up..... .... If my hunting partner had loose lips like yours..... 2 other units would have maps like **a does.... You see lighting does NOT strike twice....My hunting partner is not only a blessed man, but also a Gracious one and not only truely respects the grey ghost but also the other Men and Women who chase it. I believe the term: Even a blind Squirrel... was used???? You are great at the strut but you have the swagger of a Lucky Duck.... There are a lot of guys on this forum that have put in years and decades of chasing these wicked little deer only to have their Arses handed to them, again..... You disrespect them, IMO. Don't ever forget that you were far more lucky than good.... as we all are when we harvest a coues with a bow. We all know the story of you standing on the side of the road with an un-gutted deer acting like you just shot a 100"er..... you need a steady diet of humility, cuz the diet of stupidity you have been on is stinking the place up. Humble up and shut up..... those are my two words of advice..... Best of luck on your up coming season. Amanda..... it has ben a while since the D.D. side of me has reared up.... sorry for that, but not sorry for what I said. Beau.... you are really more old school than I ever imagined...... Kudos! Okay then you need to tell all of the outfitters the same thing you just told me. Hello that is how they make there living. Look at every outfitter website and you will see that they mention the unit of where the bucks were killed what it scored where they hunt what hunts they offer so on and so forth. HELLO thats what they do. You just put your ugly foot in your mouth, . By the way unit 24A is the only unit I hunt deer in and always have since I was 10 that is where I have my hundreds of spots (that one back fired didn't it) You really have no clue of what is going on do you. I think you may be the ROOKIE. Oh by the way it looks as if this topic backfired. Now who looks like the ROOKIE This website use to be fun but all I see on here anymore is bashing. Amanda is a great person and I Know she does not deserves this. I am done with this good night and goodbye.......

Oh my god it is a MAP of 24A woopeee. That is a big unit. But everyone knows the exact location. Okay then lets see how this blows over there are over there are 6 salts set out by me if you can find them then I will give you a 100.00 each. Good luck.
