willhunt4coues replied to LYONKILL33's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Here is my little guy. He is already gone out with me to check cameras a couple of times. He has already shot my P22 pistol but needs help shooting it. He can also name every species just by seeing the pictures. Anyways I can keep going so here is his picture, -
Almost everyone I know that hunts those mountains have had their cameras, blinds, treestands stolen. There are just too many people in that area so what kind of a secret is it. Its like the Kiabab everyone knows there are big muleys their.

General area (from what I have heard). Everyone knows and has known about the area thats why I go else where. Its like a hwy up there anyway. But if you do your research you can find some great spots. I used to hunt it when I was younger but like I said everyone just drives around. So really its nooo secret!!!!

Oh well life goes on. Then I would just find a new honey hole in matter of days. Thats why I have countless honey holes. DUH "even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then".... Obviously you aren't even blind. You just don't exist. Did you guys read the book on how to find honey holes too... or did u watch the movie... Clipnotes, buddy didn't you go to college?

I have COUNTLESS honey holes I will never run out because most people are too lazy to get off their A$$ and walk. Not a single person has gone to even one of my honey holes. And if they do there are many, many, many more to find everyone knows that. Sounds like some people have jealousy issues.

I think if someone wants to tell where he killed an elk, deer, pig so on and so forth he has all right to do so. If he then goes and hunts a different area then so be it. How many times have you said, "oh I saw a nice three point at so and so mountain". We all do it and you can't say you have never done it because thats like telling your wife you were not looking at her A$$ you were poping your neck. Don't forget high school is over so learn how to grow up. THATS MY 2 CENTS.

Looks like some buck fever happened. -
Okay here are some great pics I got: This buck was a 2x2 last year here is what he looks like so far: (notice the right cut in ear) Here is a buck from a different location: (notice the cut in top of the right ear) Here is a bigger buck from the same location: Here is an smaller buck from a different location: (notice the curl on the top left ear) Okay and the last set are baby bobcat, coyote, and fox: I hope you all enjoyed the pictures. I get on average 1000 pictures in just a week. I wish I could keep going but I have to think of why every deer has cut in their ears.

By the time August comes new growth will be there and I can promise that deer will once again populate the area. The only bad thing is that everyone will also be in the area. The fire did not do that much damage. All it did was burn the under score which will help with the habitat. It did burn lots of the old pines and some brush but it did not do that much damage. Good luck on your hunt.

Have you ever thought of a bear knocking it over and moving it. Did you look around the area? -

Here is some pics of the pinal mountain fire just south of Globe, AZ. It has so far costed 50,000.00 to fight they have about 2 helicopters and tons of hot shots fighting this fire. We did take a drive yesterday and got within about 1000 yards from it. It started on May 30 by lightning.

Okay the fire looked as if it was out yesterday morning and yesterday evening this happened within an hour. Just goes to show you that fires are so unpredictable. Globe, Ariz. (June 7, 2009, 1330 hrs.) – Management of the Pioneer Fire operations is being transferred to the Central West AZ team on Monday morning, June 7. This decision is based on the complexity, location and potential duration of the fire. Based on current fire conditions and predicted weather patterns, the fire is expected to continue to increase in size and to burn with moderate intensity. Transition to the Central West AZ team will allow local availability for supporting firefighting operations. Currently, the Pioneer fire is being managed under an indirect fire suppression strategy for firefighter safety due to local topography and weather conditions. Pioneer Fire: Date started: May 30, 2009, 2 pm Location: Pioneer Pass, east of East Mountain and west of Hwy. 77 Acres: 340 Cause: Lightning Fuels: Mixture of fuel types: ponderosa pine, manzanita and oak brush Containment: 10% Expected containment: June 18, 2009 Current resources: 214 personnel Structures threatened: None Concerns: Firefighter safety due to steep terrain, dense vegetation and difficult access, and minimizing recreation impacts to Pioneer Pass Recreation Area, East Mt. Trail #200 and Toll Road Trail # 214 Restrictions: No public traffic allowed on Pioneer Pass Road – FR 112. Please use caution on Hwy 77.

Get you a bear box. They can't pull them off and they are safe for your cam.
