I got this pic forwarded to me from my aunt and all it said was az 2008 elk. Does any one know the story behind this elk?

This is a personal opinion and belief that i hold to be true which is derived from my faith obtained through my religious conviction. It is against gods will to allow same same sex marriage which will contribute to the "downfall" of the country because the success of a nation is inevitably connected to the rightousness of the nation. why are we in such a economic crap hole because we are allowing actions contrary to gods will to be allowed, accepted, and promoted actions such as same sex marriages, abortions etc.. The more wrong decisions we make the less prosperous and we are individually and as a nation. if god does not destroy California with heck fire and brimstone he owes sodom and gomorrah an apology. just my opinion

looking to buy a rem short action does not matter the caliber i am going to rip it apart and build a custom 300 wsm off the action any one out there can help me out

definatly does not win first place as far as being the smallest but it is a personal smallest and kinda cool and a chance to represent unit 27

like red neck said to accomidate unique physical limitations and the other reason is just because i could and thought it would make it look kinda cool and different

here is a custom 270 that just got built has some different features you do not see every day and i am just kinda excited about it and had post some pictures to share it. she weighs 7 lbs 10 oz so not to heavy, has a made from scratch muzzlebrake, octaganal remington reciever, shilin barrel, high tech specialties stock.

those are not fiber optic sites they are (trijacon style) glow in the dark sticks

thanks for the info. i was considering removeing metal from the bolt race ways i would be cutting windows in it if you will. staying clear of the ariea where the bolt locks up of course and i was just worried that it would increase action flex. again i realize the 600 is one of the lightest actions out there any way and its not like i would be removeing tons of materiel any way and not obtaining that much weight loss any way just a thought

i have a rem 600 action i want to convert into a light weight rifle in the caliber of 300 wsm or 270 wsm. i want to skelitonize the bolt and reciever to maxumize weight reduction but am afraid to weaken the reciever to much. i guess i am just worried abougt such a heavy recoiling catridge in such a light gun first being safe and second being accurate. i realize of course that the recoil on my sholder will be significantly increased by such a design of a rifle but am willing to deal with that. does any one have any experience they are willing to share with me before i make a mistake with this little project.
