If he is a resident he can do his hunter safety all online and no field day required. If non resident he will have to find a field day to come down to. Or he completes a hunter safety course in the state he is in if possible. Funny we as hunters think the elk are ours for some reason. Everyone has a right to enjoy them as much as the guy that waited 20 years for a tag. Does it suck? Yeah, but dealing with others comes with the territory on a public land hunt. If I want to go chase some bulls and get some video or pictures because it's fun to me I'm doing it. Obviously if I know someone else is actually on the bull I'm chasing I'd back off but other than that I'm having a good time.

Just know the majority of the best guides are going to be booked up. Ensure whoever you use isnt just going to throw you out there with someone that doesn't know what they're doing. Clay Bundy would be my only choice but highly likely he doesnt have a spot.

Can anyone confirm if the only doctor allowed to sign off is a D.O. or Orthopedic specialist? Or do MD's count? The proposal showed D.O. and ortho only.

They've made it pretty severe on them lately in that if they lose their license they cant have anything to do with anyone that is guiding, can't have wife take over their business etc, cant help others in the field while revoked. So guides have a lot more to lose now than they did a few years ago.

Sounds like drones and thermal devices were being used as well. Will be interesting to see just how far they went to find animals.

What about the poachers and unethical guides breaking the law. Do they count too?

I figured good buddies like you would get us the details. Its wild to me anyone would believe the police would raid someones house for something someone else did if they didn't have anything to do with it or know about it. Smells like some BS to me.
