You said it yourself. You find out you drew (in this case 8 months prior) and its in the back of your mind after that. I've heard of several over the years. Usually weekend warrior type guys that don't really hunt much but put in every now and then. The hunt isn't anything exciting or special to them and they may go out for a day or two opening weekend and drink some beer and go home. People forget dates of things a lot more important than a Dec 23 cow tag so I don't see how it's that mind blowing.

Pretty simple. They got the dates mixed up. I've known several people that have gotten dates mixed up and missed hunts. A Dec 23 cow tag isn't exactly on the top of the list of most important things going on in most people's lives.

Happens every 5-6 years due to the calendar changing. All hunts are set to start on specific weeks of the year. Example: late elk to start on the 48th Friday of the year. (No idea if that's the correct week) As the calendar moves around from year to year with a leap year or two eventually the hunts bump back. I think the last time it bumped back like this was 2017.

Pay lots of $$$$$. Most of the best ranches are already taken or you pay top dollar to hunt them.

Gonna have to kill more than a 70 and 80 inch buck for me to be jealous. 102 on San Carlos with a guide is a shame. I'd ask for a refund. 118 in mexico is a nice buck for sure but not uncommon on ranches only you are hunting.

As said in some of the now deleted posts, come on here with goals and excitement and kill some nice bucks that's awesome and everyone enjoys it. Then as you don't reach these lofty goals, start changing those goals and giving excuses, then having moderators erase posts you don't like that's gonna cause people to call you out. Mind you all this arrogance is coming from a dude that until like last year or year before had never even killed a coues after 17 years of trying.

I've personally never seen someone make a post already acting like they shot 4 100+ bucks because the first buck they shot in mexico was 118. I've personally never seen someone make so many excuses after the fact for not sticking to their goals. I've personally never seen someone have moderators erase posts that are critical of your arrogance. You're just a normal hunter that killed average deer like most people do. SCI also had 155 as the minimum for mule deer so yeah I'd go with sci vs B&C too. SCI is a joke just like you.

Long story short you shot your biggest buck in mexico like the majority of people do. You shot two small bucks on public land and didn't reach your goal of 105 on the San Carlos "where people are shooting 120s consistently". You didn't reach your goal of 4 "book" bucks in a year, you erased posts for people questioning your arrogance and BS That about covers it. But since this is what you're looking for I'll give it to you: You're so awesome Frank! You are out here breaking barriers and records with your hunting prowess you coues killing machine. When I grow up I wanna be just like you.

Wild! They'll lose their licenses they didn't have anyway and be fined. They won't lose trucks or weapons like he said because AZ doesn't have any laws in place to take those items like other states do.

Alan hamberlin lives here I believe and I think they think the deer was brought into az after being killed. However if they can't prove the deer came into az then I don't think az has anything to go off of.

You guys would be really upset if you lived in another state. Az probably hands out the harshest penalties of any when it comes to license revocations and fines. Most states are taking people's license for like 3 years when they poach a bighorn sheep. Az taking licenses for 5 if you shoot an extra quail.

This isnt meant to be rude and Im glad you guys are doing a class but I can see why noone wants to attend 4 days of classes. If you live right in flag that's one thing but if you're coming from out of town that's a lot of time and money into it vs knocking out the class online in a day then going to the field day for a few hours. Are you guys allowed to just put on the field days? Because that's where the backlog is. Not the need for in person classes.
