Getting drawn for any choice you will lose your points. There isn't a situation where your points aren't a factor in your draw.
-
Bet you wouldn't have done that in your truck 😉

Lol yes because I said I own the forest. I don't own the freeway but I cant ride my bike on it. Like I said, every grandpa and grandma has one and putts around so of course you have one. If you didn't have one and had to drive your truck around you wouldn't be out there. -

Sxs have most certainly ruined the forest. Everyone and their grandma has one and drives them wherever they can get them to. Grandpa wouldn't take his truck out in the woods but doesn't mind cruising out in the razr which leads to hundreds if not thousands of more people in the forest. Their tires spin out way more than a truck and cause washboards much quicker. You don't see guys in trucks doing donuts in the middle of a main forest road but it's a common occurrence with atvs and sxs. You dont see a train of 40 trucks going on an expedition but its common to see it with sxs's. Forest service needs to designate atv and sxs trails or areas and make them trailer them out there and they can destroy those areas as they please. -

Get one within two days that doesn't have any dust for $26.00 https://www.amazon.com/Hunting-Big-Mule-Deer-Take/dp/069245795X -
Been tough for most people I know. Few 180 ish bucks I've seen killed. Not sure I've seen one over 190. Doesn't meant one hasn't been killed. Seems some bucks on the October hunt have been just as impressive.

There are only 2 people with max and they are both residents.
-
Regardless of when it started, if you have been applying since 83 you have max points. Based on the fact that you ignored my previous comment I have a feeling you don't have max points and also haven't been putting in every year since 83.
-
One choice every year and you're complaining about not drawing? Gotta help yourself and take advantage of at least using both choices. If you truly have been putting in since 1983 that means you are one of 2 people with max points. Meaning you could draw any hunt you want. So . . Something doesn't add up.

Looks like next week it is.

Pretty sure that's the generic answer they give until results are posted. Gonna be a few rejected cards that cause others to be charged but generally 99% of the draw is done.

Anyone have any experience on the best time to hunt Goulds in Mexico? Booking a hunt and have the option from middle of April-middle of May. Thanks

Card deadline is Monday June 17th! Tuesday's the day.

I'll say it again. 3a does not have any horses and therefore you couldn't see them with your eyes, because they aren't there. I'm assuming you think 3a is the part of 3c that is north of 260. 3a doesn't start until north of hwy 277.
-
There are 0 horses in 3a. Also, there's nowhere to get away from roads in 3c, they're everywhere. This is no offense to the bull you killed last year, but I think when most people think of good elk hunting they are thinking of bulls over 300". Plenty of units you can go can find an elk and kill it.

Dang, I need to get some buddies like that.
-
Did the seller seem sketchy at all? Like he might be going to buy some crack with the $350 he got for dad's $1200 rifle kind of thing? That's an insane price. Good buy.

Shut tf up Kev. They're crooks. "It MaKEs SeNsE tO SCreW PeOplE OveR tO MaKe EXtrA MonEY" drrrrrrr
-
I agree with that. It's just much more prevalent on reservations.
-
Those reservations are one step above a third world country, with similar corrupt governments that do as they please. They are sovereign so there is no oversight but at the same time they are backed by the U.S. governments money. On top of that, they are some of the most greedy people on the planet that will screw people over to make a quick buck without thinking about the money they will lose in the future. They are lucky they have big money hunters that are willing to pay for those elk tags or they'd all have starved to death by now. The director, Tim Stevens, is a worthless piece of trash, that as you learned just runs things as he pleases and makes up rules as he goes. BUT they know there's enough people that are willing to play their game to get to hunt there so they don't really care.

People pay for guides to kill a 300 inch bull? Wtf
