Another great event put on by SAWC. My son had a blast, tied for second on the advanced shooters. My, soon to be his, trusty 17hmr was good to him. Seemed like all the kids enjoyed themselves and definitely some good and up & coming silhouette shooters out there. Safety was first and foremost, followed by a great group of staff. Moe thank you again for everything!!!!!!!

Jr hunt is right around the corner, it's always good to break in boots prior to heading out into the hills.

The night before opening day of quail in 1999, I staged my shotgun, shells & jacket in the garage next to my 30-06. Both guns were in a dark green canvas case. We get up before light and head out to 36A (off of Sasabe Hwy). We park and start unloading, birds are clucking, sun just popped up, going to be a great day. I grab my gun case and pull out my 06, if you can picture the scene when Ralphie drops all the lug nuts in the movie A Christmas Story, well the mother of all dirty words was said. Needles to say, we pack up and drive back home only to hunt birds on the backside of Mt Lemmon.

This is a male, in one of the pics (not shown) he has his tail up like he is spraying his scent all over the place. I had a bunch of pigs and a skunk show up at night. Only 3-4 doe, wondering if that big ole mean putty kat had something to do with this. Regardless I do have a tag, maybe during my kids jr hunt in early Oct or mine in late Oct. As for the Coati, surprised only one came through, usually they travel in groups.

We have an African Sulcata, about 2 yrs old and it's quite impressive how big he has gotten in that short of time. He has dug about a 6' hole and then it doglegs left, so who know how far it actually goes. Just beware, if it's a male, my wife found out the hard way (no pun intended) their dongs look like something out of a science fiction movie. If you have ever seen the movie Tremors, it looks just like it.

This is a gently used Darton Ranger III compound bow. I bought this bow (used) for my son 3 yrs ago, he was 11. You can adjust draw length very easy by switching out the modules. All of them are included with owners manual. No need for a bow press. Comes with 5 pin PSE sight PSE stabilizer Wrist sling Peep Flip-up arrow rest Specs: DW 20-45# DL 22-28" Had a lot of fun at 3D shoots with this bow. The sight was just installed because we took the single pin off for his new bow. $50.00

If you are located on the east side (22nd/Sarnoff-just east of the vehicle emissions), Accurate Automotive 296-6166. Two bothers that I grew up with do fantastic work, (definitely under dealership costs) honest, fair and quick turn around.
