The j 13 works really really well. This past weekend I told my friend how well it worked on my Friday hunt so he wanted to tag along on Saturday to witness it, on Monday he ordered two of them. I used one this past weekend on two separate days and had pigs come in from all directions, I couldn't get the call out of my mouth, the release on my string and aim quick enough at times. At one point I was almost kind of scared there were so many running by and directly at me within 3-4 feet. Have fun with it.

Aluminum double/single rifle case. It does show some wear on exterior (small dents/scratches) 4 latches, handle and (2) combo locks all work fine. I no longer have the keys for it. It does not come with the center piece of foam but is padded on upper lower portions of case. The center piece of foam is missing because it fits my rifles and I installed it in the new case that I purchased. Asking $60.00

Yes, I had my Rem 700 7mm mag with a Zeiss scope and a Kimber 270 wsm with a Kahles scope including slings on both guns (they were flip/flopped-barrel to butt each way) with the center foam insert it was a tight fit.

I really wish the road hunters would extract their craniums, this goes for all the bozos on the quads and rhinos as well. I can see going to get their downed animal or like mentioned prior if you have a disability but that is it, don't drive and drive and drive around all day looking for movement. The good ole man upstairs gave you a heart and legs use them for christ sake. This reminded me of our past deer hunting trip in 36B this year, the early hunt. On Sunday Oct 28 this bright orange jeep with a rack mounted to the front bumper carrying a cooler or possibly a metal diamond plated toolbox (possible willy's or cj5) starting driving down the road over looking a canyon just to the north of us. Two guys jump out of the jeep and run to the side of the canyon and start franticly scouring the hillside, one guy even starts throwing rocks into the ravine/trees to flush anything out. The one guy continues looking through his scope while the other guy runs back to the jeep. I couldn't tell what he grabbed but he came back to his buddies side. They both slowly got back into the jeep and continued on about 100'-200' and they both jumped out again and with rifles and were glassing with scopes. I am thinking to myself what a couple of boneheads. They do this for about 1/4 mile or so leaning over the jeeps hood and standing along the ravine the entire way until they eventually take a road somewhere else. I had already filled my tag but was helping a buddy try and fill his tag and couldn't believe with what I was seeing. They didn't end up shooting at anything and thank god because I think I would have done something that I would have regretted. Oh well, had to post it and gripe.

Knocked down 9 of these tasty little guys this morning in about 3 hours, can't wait to cook em up. Was very happy with the amount of birds. I had to have jumped at least 8 different coveys with birds ranging from 10-20. It was a great day because every bird I shot I recovered. I absolutely hate it when I can't recover downed birds, either they fly off or run into a hole.

Went out quail hunting this morning and at first light this guy runs behind a prickly pear cactus about 10' away. Needless to say he should have slept in a bit longer. Have had numerous opportunities but never pulled the trigger, first time shooting a fox.

2011-This was my toad from last year, the bar was set so high I just knew it wasn't going to be easy (even a blind squirrel finds a nut-right) 2012-Oct 26, opening morning in unit 36B. He was with 3 other decent sized bucks, but this one decided to stand a bit too long in the same place. Rem 7mm mag did the trick at 260 yds.

Went scouting in 36B on Sunday for my up coming WT hunt and glassed this guy up headed my way. I brought my rifle (Kimber 270 wsm) as well as my sidearm along in case I saw a lion, but mostly for long range fire power just in case of any trouble came my way. I first ranged him at 284 and he had no idea I was watching him. He continued my way weaving through the ocotillos nose to the ground sniffing and rummaging around. He got to 110 yds turned broadside and thats all she wrote. As I walked up to it to check it out, no more than 10 yds away a small whitetail doe jumps up from the tall grass and runs off. Don't know if the yote was hunting her down, but I would like to think I saved her life. Plus I don't need some stinkin predator grubbin on any of my antlered targets.

Hey reganranch, I absolutely love the Kimber. It is a 8400 Classic in 270wsm, very light weight and easy to lug around, easy to shoot and they just look fantastic, very clean looking rifle. I have a Kahles KX 3.5-10x50 scope on it and is crystal clear, great scope. I want to say Kahles is up there with Swaros and Zeiss in clarity. I have had it just over 4 years and have taken 3 deer, 4 pigs an elk and a lion with it. Action is very smooth, no problems whatsoever. I have been toying around getting a Kimber Montana but I don't like that they don't have the hinged floor plate under the stock. I like the way they look and for easy bullet removal....JMO. I can't realy think of any cons to the gun with the exception of not being able to find a synthetic stock for it. I want to be able let my son use this gun next year and would rather have a syn stock on it because of how kids can be with walking and tripping on uneven terrain. You won't be diappointed if you are thinking of getting one.

I have that same gun and absolutely love it. I have taken (2) deer, (4) javelinas, a mountain lion and a cow elk with it. Wouldn't sell it for the world. Godd luck on the sale.
