Since there are 126 hunt permit-tags still available (obtained only through application and drawing procedures) you need to pay $148.00 which includes a $13 application fee, ALL nonpermit-tags (OTC) are $135.00. These can be purchased at any Dept office or license dealer.

Is beer singular like deer because I need a herd of beer. Sent my app in from Tucson this morning. I am a little worried because the postal service said it would be delivered by Monday @ 3:00pm, that's way past when they open their doors to start opening mail by 0800. I paid an additional $16.75 so that it would be delivered by tomorrow (no signature required) and praying like a mofo that they have a mail slot that they can deliver to. Don't know if I pissed away $16.75, but like the Az Lottery, you can't win if you don't play. Fingers and toes crossed.

I thought they pulled the first 126 applicants or the amount needed to fill the alotted tags and just sent the unopened (unlucky applicants) back to sender. I don't recall being charged another processing fee for leftovers, I may be wrong though.

Recently traded my 2003 Chevy 2500 HD crew cab 4x4 with 207xxx miles, absolutely great truck. Towed great and went everywhere I wanted it to go, loved the size (int and ext) only thing I hated it was a thirsty pig, 10 mpg in town or hwy. I traded it for a 2014 Toyota Tundra crew cab 4x4 and I absolutely love this truck, The cab is friggin huge compared to my old truck, the gas mileage is a huge plus, 15-17 mpg. The only downside I have noticed is the bed is slightly shorter, but that means I just pack a little smarter. Haven't towed anything yet to see what it's capable of doing but I am sure it will do just fine. You won't be disappointed. Just my 2 cents.

In 2006, my 3rd child was born May 30. Well on April 1, 2006 my wife started screaming at the top of her lungs from within the garage (8 months into her pregnancy), I run out there to see her standing in a puddle of water in her nightie. She said her water had just broke and I needed to gather her belongings and take her to the hospital, I ran around frantically gathering all her stuff and ran into the garage and she is sitting on the floor in hysterics. This is my Kimber 270wsm 8400 Classic w/muzzle brake. Topped with a Zeiss 4.5-14x44 scope. (Dads gun) This is my other Kimber 270wsm 8400 Classic, topped with a Kahles KX 3.5-10x50 scope. (Sons gun, but mostly dads gun) Unfortunately it looks like myself nor my kids will be using these for elk this year, the draw gods weren't in our favor.

Out of animals I have harvested, I'd have to say: 1-mountain lion 2-elk 3-deer But hands down blackened ostrich is flipping scrumdilly-ishous

Hunting since I was 10, but big game starting at 14 when I could actually pull back 40lbs, got my 1st pig when I turned 18 with a bow. Switched to rifle at age 21 and tagged my 2nd pig at age 25. Not until I was 32 did I actually tag my 1st mule deer. Learned a lot from making tons of mistakes and are slowly turning things around, after countless years of tag soup I may need to schedule a colonoscopy to extract all the tags that are lining my lower intestines. Whitetail-5 Mule deer-2 Javelina-16 Cow elk-2 Mountain lion-1 Got my son his firearm hunting certificate at age 10 just two years ago and he is on a roll. Whitetail-2 Javelina-1 Hoping the draw gods have some love this year!!!!!!!!

Does anybody have any thoughts on a Remington model 700 280? Availability of ammo? If you had your choice of 270 or 280, why? Let me know, thanks.
