If these lowlifes show up, I sure hope someone stops them. How in the world do these people get away with this. There should not be a law against this, rather a law preventing prosecution for those who stop these morons. Any means possible, put them on a plane and ship their sorry, pathetic arses to a 3rd world country.

That guy was more of a collector than a seller. He had one of everything, and his prices were sky high because he could give 2 turds if you bought it or not. He would rather that you didn't. I

As long as you leave a cam and do not take a cam, I see no problem with it. Just because a guy has a cam on a waterhole, does not mean he is the only one who gets to see what hits it. Leaving a note is a good idea.

I will take the beer and the band along with the shooting. Sounds like a good time. That flyer does not really have any info on it tho.. What time does it start and how much is it? Is there payouts? -
Glad the tag sold for so much, but I was a little disappointed with the banquet. Only a 100 people or so, and the way they did the raffles was IMO terrible. Never before have I seen a banquet that for 2055$, you are guaranteed a gun. I also thought the meal was great in flavor, but saw lots of steaks not get eaten because they were less than rare!!! A few ladies out our table would not even take a bite. Could not have been more than a 1/16th of an inch of sear on any side of a 1 1/2" steak.

Anyone ever use Speer bullets
123456 replied to sherman's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
First Bull I shot with the 270 TBBC was around 130 yards. Hard to tell about expansion because I shot it right in the pocket, and it blew all the way thru. It made soup out of the lungs though. I have never taken an animal over 150 yards. -

I have shot them in factory 270 ammo and have had great results. I have killed 2 bulls with trophy bonded bear claw and both have been awesome expansion. I shot the second bull at 65 yards with my 300WSM with a 180 gr trophy bonded bear claw. I shot for his shoulder so he would drop in his tracks, and I ended up finding the bullet in the opposite shoulder's hide. The bullet went thru both shoulders and lodged in the hide. When I went home I weighed the bullet, and it had lost exactly 12gr. I was very impressed. -
Looks like mom with maybe 2 cubs.

Wait..... Upon further investigation, I think it might be a coonacabra. Looks like a hybrid!

I go 3-5 times a year, and have never had a problem. I feel safer in Cholla than I do in downtown phoenix. I will say that I can not stand downtown rocky point. The fishing is too good to not go down there. Kastmasters that are 1 oz are fantastic. Reel fast and avoid the rocks, and the trout will be plentiful.

Great!!!!! I can not wait to get out and go catch some stripers. Were you using anchovies? Any lights? We have had some luck trolling deep diving lures in the past, but would like to get out the pontoon boat and relax. Nothing like relaxing on the pontoon, playing some poker, drinking some beverages and waiting for the bell to start ringing.

Good luck with the sale, the way he mentioned of selling the firearm is as legit as they come!!!! As far as shipping the ammo, it is just expensive and can only be shipped via UPS unless you have been cleared and have an account with FEDEX. ( Major pain in the arse!!). Here in phoenix, you have to take your ammo down to the central UPS hub in downtown phoenix, or have a pickup scheduled from your house. This adds around 10$ to have them come pick it up. Smaller ups stores can not ship ammo. Good luck with the sale, and welcome to the site!! Oh yeah and very nice rifle!!

I have never bought a new barrel, but I am starting to get sick of shooting my magnums without a break. I have 7mag, that kicks like a mule. I put an HS Stock on it, and a timney trigger, so I am reluctant to sell it. I still have the stock barrel on it, and now I want to put a muzzle break on it. The gun is a weatherby vanguard, and I also have another 7 mag that is bone stock and has never been shot. I am torn on whether to: A: Buy a new barrel, and put a break on it. B: Build up the Remington, and ditch the weatherby action. If I should buy a new barrel, which one/break? and how much can I look to spend on a new barrel with brake installed by a gunsmith? I am pretty inexperienced at this, but I like to shoot this gun a lot, so I would like to cut the recoil down. Thanks for your input.
