I sent my RX-1000 back to leupold for a tune up and cleaning so I could sell it. They did me one better and mailed me back a new RX-1200i TBR/W. I have switched over to using a sig rifle hunting and had always use my leupold for archery. I thought I would try and sell this one and just use the sig for both. $250 shipped to your door Thanks

Sold to Carpcody. I tried to open your pm but it won't open. Do you still have my number from the shotgun? Brent

Freight? I just took 12500 tons to Phoenix with 22000 horsepower. Yep, that is 25 million pounds of freight in one night at 1.76 hp/ton I do that almost every day. Time is money my friend. I don't have time to chase down a couple pounds of salt. Would have paid less if there was a option from his site. Really not that bad. I just mailed 8 oz to Phoenix for $6.95. As far as weaker, I am just trying to heat up a couple of cases at a time. I guess I will be the fool if it doesn't work, but it is my money. Brent

Awesome man. Proud of you both. Brent

Maybe. I read what I needed to read to decide to try it. At the cost of good brass, and for all the other reasons to anneal your brass, I figured why not. Just wish I had read it sooner. I have been using a two torch method which I don't think does a constant job. Maybe that is just me. There were no haz mat fees. Just cheapest option was two day priority which was $15.60 for one pound or three so I ordered three. $12 for the salt. Love tinkering. Should have the stuff today when I get home from work Brent

Fixed my 2800 in a couple of weeks. No questions. Great service, Great people to work with. Brent

Pretty dang cool. I have played with a couple of torch methods that I made myself. Short of buying a true annealing machine, this seems to be a great way to go. I just order the stuff from amazon. The salts are cheap but the shipping in a killer. I have three pounds on its way. Thanks for putting this up for all to see. I will let you know how it works. Brent

Bino Harness - looking for recommendations
cohofishing replied to Cell4soul's topic in Optics and tripods
I agreed with 208muley. Tried them all. Really happy with marsupial for my 15's. If anything, the material might be a little noisy for bowhunting. Love everything kuiu makes but their bino harness has been a let down for me for a number of reasons. I own both sizes. Creed, you have been working out. Packing out all those deer have given you a set of guns Brent -
We did use a prescription to get rid of it first, Gentizol. I believe

My dog used to get the same type of condition in her ear. Comes from moisture. Had us start feeding her yogurt. Plain. Put it on her food or a big spoon full in her bowl. Haven't had the problem since. We fed it to our cats too

Stepped Away From the Dark Side
cohofishing replied to creed_az_88's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Took someone else to help me find your wife's story. Saw the title a couple times but for some reason, "brain fart", I thought it was your mule deer story. Great write up. Love it. You guys both are amazing Brent -
Yes. Just open basecamp and select it out of your maps selection

You get a microSD card so you can use the chip (microSD) on your home computer. Works great. I have the western four state onXmap. I have used AZ, NM, and CO. I don't have the property ownership but that would be handy. You would probably have to update yearly though. Thumbs up got onXmaps

Thanks for meeting up with me. It was a pleasure and glad it worked out for both of us Brent

Cleaning out my office. I have years of hunting magazines that I thought I would someday re read. Probably going to have to throw them out unless somebody has some idea of what to do with them. Years ago, I brought them to the fish and game office to ship overseas to the troops. Not sure if that is a possibility still or if somebody else close to Sahuarita wants them. Probably makes no sense to ship them but if somebody wants them, I can haul them to Tucson or somewhere else close by. Thanks Brent

Anyone reloading for a .264 win mag?
cohofishing replied to GreyGhost85's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
That is what the chronograph said. Shot and verified out to 680 yards. She shoots a two inch group at 500 yards with that load. The hornady book shows 2800 with 60.3 grains with their test gun. I am sure you can get to go faster. At the time, it was hard to find those bullets and I was happy with those results. If you want to test the Nosler 142 accubonds LR or the 129's, I have a couple of boxes of each. Brent -
Anyone reloading for a .264 win mag?
cohofishing replied to GreyGhost85's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have been loading Court's 264 win mag for a while. Court's newest redo has a 26" brux 1-8 barrel and I have been loading 143's eld-x with 58.3 H1000 and CCI 250 primers. Her gun like those bullets with a 0.020 jump and I get 2800 fps at the barrel. I have used H1000 for 140 berger and Amax with good results. I have been loading 130's with h4831 and h4350. Gun likes 130 nosler accubonds with the h4831. Her old barrel was a 1-9 and I loaded 120's with IMR4350 Here's the 143's Court's November buck shot with her 264 with 143's
