The ramp is out of water. They are launching just east of the ramp on a dirt ramp. I fished from a 12 foot Colman Crawdad Boat. There was probably around 10 boats fishing. Ranging from pontoons,bass boats and a couple kayaks. . Crappie and Bass where being caught by everyone.

San Carlos Yesterday. Brought a few home . I hate keeping bass. But my Daughter begged me to bring some home. Looks like fish tacos and coleslaw with corn fritters and fries. Mmmm Biggest fish there was 7.14 next two where just over 6. Next one was just under 6,and the last 3 bass where between 3.5 and 4.5. and a 2.3 Crappie. All caught on a Berkley square billed red crank bait. Caught 3 crappie and 13 bass. Smallest bass was 2.7.

Mark how's Your back ? Have You Fished Rosey lately? Talkalai is running over the top. And very muddy. A few Tribal Members told Me that San Carlos is really low. But lots of fish are being caught. Want to go somewhere on Saturday and catch fish.

You fishing with live scope over trees and brush? Have You seen anyone trolling,or have You tried . I like to troll with two 1)16 oz. Jigs. Of various colors. With a live minnow on the top and a jig with a grub of some color below it. Run about 1 to 2 miles per hour. That always seemed to work best for me. I never seen to find a brush pile holding them. Sure do miss San Carlos. Last year was a blast. Hundred plus fish per day .

Me too. I definitely prefer Crappie fishing. My Dad and I spent a lot of time fishing with Art Chamberland. Where are you getting Your minnows?

Definitely got a small boat. Took a bike ride last Tuesday. And stopped at school house. That's really low. Grapevine looked okay. I will probably bass fish the morning and depending on the bite. Maybe float a minnow and throw a crappie jig.
