Has anybody ever owned a Howa Rifle? If so what did you think?

its a good idea but what I've done in past is put up an old 5 man tent at the spot i want for about a week or two early. Then when I go up I pull the trailer and take down the tent. If someone steals the tent oh well its a tent not my nice trailer.

I was up there last year and my Dad and I pulled out a couple of nice deer if you think a 27 inch spread is nice! All you have to do is pull into the check out station and check the teeth and take a picture. Very simple and takes about 10 mins.

My buddies say's MULITIPLE GENOUSE HUNT NUMBERS? Whats does that mean? I take it that he messed up big time

I called and entered my Sportsman ID and then it said I wasnt drawn for ELK Winter hunt!

Thanks for the help, I do have a buddy who lives in the gold canyon area and can hunt out of the backyard if i wanted. I just felt guilty about doing that, it didnt really feel like I was hunting. I'm just going to head out and walk to a hill and glass glass and stalk for the shot.

I'm new to the forum and I'm not looking for honey holes in unit 24B Javelina but does anybody know where I would begin to look for them? Thanks IG
