This post is to confirm that did in fact sell HOGHNTR a beautiful model 77 Hawkeye in .270 a couple of years ago. Whatever the rest of that is all about is for you all to sort out. Good luck

I doubt you'll ever get that RSI to shoot. If you know anyone that likes Rugers (relatives etc) I'd try to dump it on them

I can vouch for the quality build of these rifles. Here's a photo of my girls and myself ringing aluminum at 1000 inches. Offhand with open sights.

Comment now and let them know we prefer to hunt rather than employ sharpshooters http://parkplanning.nps.gov/document.cfm?parkID=65&projectID=49574&documentID=71123

My wife and I had great trip to the Kaibab this year for her late tag. We hunted hard for a week in the low country and saw lots of good bucks and a few great ones. She was only a second or 2 late getting set up on a 190+, I guess they get that big by making the right moves. She was getting a little discouraged after missing the holiday with our daughters until she shot this buck at 150 yards with the .25-06. I kept telling her to keep her chin up and how fast your luck can change on a hunt, I think she sees it now. It was our first hunt up there and we would love to do it again someday.

We did not. I'm sure some were taken judging by the quality of bucks we ran into. My wife was having trouble getting the scope on them in the thick PJ though. More time on a rifle would help her on that. I take for granted the hours I spent shooting BB/pellet rifles as a kid. Hopefully all the time my daughters spend shooting their pink Red Ryder will pay off. We did see a bald eagle and I found a 25-35 case. Got me thinking about hunting the same area as folks a century ago

You are where I was a year ago. 10x slcs on my neck and 15x in the pack. Can't hand hold the 15x and when I did pull them out and spotted deer way out there, I wanted a better look at the deer before hiking all the way over to them. I sold both and got the 12x50 el and a used STS 80 HD spotter and am very happy. If I'm not trophy hunting I leave the spotter at home
