Went up on the rim last weekend with the kids. Set up camp and we all walked by this elk shed at least 10 times before I was setting up the lantern and BOOM there it was!!

Yes it has never been put back in the bag!!! It is a wonderful tent keeps out the heat in the summer and the wind in the winter. Found a nice portable AC unit to hook up to it I have not even moved it once. Economical on many aspects love the tent.

Was in the area of the camp today birds are gobbling and very active already! I will try to get up to help out for a few days, Easter weekend is tough.

My girlfriend just punched me when I showed her this post!! She said, what were you doing up there sleeping? You must be in the wrong spot or doing something wrong! Ugh been up a few weekends and found five sheds this year so far. Just no browns elk are always my hardest to figure out since I live in the valley and can't get out to watch them.

We were on a mle deer hunt in 24b this past november and the kids found three tortouses in two different locations in one afternoon. I tend to see more and more in that unit.

Have to get out of town this weekend because I have the chance just wondering if anyone else is going to get brave and get out in the weather!

Went up saturday morning got rain, snow, and sleet and I was freezing. Did find one nice 6x antler on saturday so that got me pumped. It was not a shed though must have broken it in battle back in sept. or aug. Still pretty cool. Hiked all day then got behind the scope this evening and spotted 7 bulls feeding on one hillside only 1 had dropped. That's where I will be heading in a week or two.
