    What rifle is better!!!

    I have a winchester model 70 in 300 ultra mag- killed 2 coues at 500 yds, and an elk at 565, no problems. I bust baloons out to 800 yds. Standard rifle, free floated barrell and all hand loads.

    Family Strengths

    I am a communication specialist (dispatcher) for PHI Air Medical. here in Az we are known as Air Evac. I dispatch and track the flights of the big yellow helicopters. Air ambulance transports. I work nights, 12 hour shifts. 3 and 4 days on then 3 and 4 days off. I enjoy it.

    you could scan it or you can just take a picture of it with your digital camera and load it on that way, that is what i usually do with older pics, it seems to work quite well.

    Thanks stalkin for the info! I have kind of looked at the Nikons, but I have always had canon point and shoots, I was looking at one from the Canon Rebel series, XT,XTI, or XSI. Thanks again for sharing the pics.

    Congrats to you! Kids are the best! Our boys' names are Tanner Eric and Parker Scott, when we have another boy we will probably go with Carsen Glenn.

    My brother got his mount back!

    thanks for the comments guys, it was definetly a sweet hunt with great memories made. My brother and I had ran through the scenario of a double smack down so many times and we finally made it happen. Good times.
  22. This buck was taken on the october hunt 2008. He was killed opening morning with one shot at 450 yards. Clay with mogollon taxidermy did a great job. He grosses 108"

    2-Way radio suggestions

    I'm looking for some good quality 2-way radios. All the "talk about" types seem to always give us trouble. Battery life, hard to hear, low transmition quality, etc. Also i want to be able to have an ear bud so we can talk to each other without worrying about being to loud. Any info or ideas would be helpful. Also I don't want to spend to much money, maybe $375 max for 2 radios. Thanks guys.
