OTHER places these run $200-$300, workers at costco said THEY SELL OUT QUICK AND ONLY RCV COUPLE TIMES A YEAR. -
Definitely. Hey with guys doing reviews on the Kaibab hunt I just think it's important for them to see both sides so people can make an informed decision. If meat is the main priority this is pretty cool and maybe do like Evan did and they camped up there beforehand and camped up there the night after the kill you know make it fun. I had to get back in town so I just went up there collected my meat basically got home and I'm going to enjoy that meat every single time I bite into it. I guess it really just depends what you call hunting, some guys are still dead-set against this hunt but they're okay with sitting on salt that somebody placed them on with pictures of the animals that will be there and then calling that a hunt so whatever tickles your fancy I guess. I don't know many people that have done the current day Kaibab hunt without a PAID guide that have been successful. As I said man when I was younger I dreamt about the House Rock Ranch spot n stalk on a big bull buffalo with a bow and then worrying about getting crushed by them when they run me over LOL things change as you age sometimes. Having my sucky arthritis and having my rheumatologist tell me that the game meat better for me with its higher level of omega's I just like to keep my freezer stocked. HOPEFULLY GOOD THINGS WILL COME FROM FUTURE PLANNED BUFFALO HERDS.

You gots some good prices here bud

How about this... It's a stupid pointless law. I'd rather see guys be able to collect the wounded animals and put them in the freezer :-)

👍 on the g&f guys for real... You know Himer or however you spell is name manages to make you feel like he is experiencing it for 1st time with you. I was there in spring with friends kids and same thing he is verrry cool dude! Taking guys 3 at a time to kill every few weeks for however long seems like it might get boring to me or maybe he might dismiss stories from newbies or maybe he might just be a get"r done guy and not take the time to congratulate hunters etc... This is not the case he will make you feel like you are a paying client not just a tag holder. Another g&f guy was there this time also who explained Az bison history and hopes for the future herds. 👍 both these gentlemen are welcome at my campfire or bbq anytime.

Today's speed bows with rock solid walls BUT ZERO valley are to blame for so many bicep tendon years is kinda ridiculous. Go with a 60lb Bow max and or a 50 that maxes at 52'ish. No sure your condition but I ended up with crossbow permit and I just pretend it's a vertical Bow. but I do know a valley is super important! Go to a archery shop and watch how many seasoned archers have their bows rip into them when it creeps a dang tiny bit and almost rips arm off- it has gotten stupid! 1 save-meaning you stop string from taking off could easily tear bicep tendon / labrum / rotator cuff TRUST ME ON THIS.. A little sponge can save you and your Shoulder. I wish you luck! Maybe look into crossbow permit, my doc said "give me the **** paper to sign im sick of you tearing up my work"

Oh by the way if you ever have this tag and hunt there make sure you stop at the ranch house and check out LOL I was in such a hurry to get the meat down to the Butcher and in the freezer and make sure I made it back to my kids game we just loaded it up and I smoked and right past the building. My buddy that was following me called me and said Mike you better stop the game and fish guys doing about 70 miles an hour trying to catch you LOL oops :-)

Sometimes I really wish I were a 20yr old bachelor. Stick a canoe on it and be gone! Good luck with sale
-
Or do I? 😯 good luck with sale I like mine very much. Stalkers 280, 2-243wssm, 308. A-bolt wood 7-08, 30-06 all shoot well and feel great.
-
So what if I have so many other a bolt stalkers I don't need this 1!!!!!!!
-
I have seen coons & badgers hit right there also
-
I know they don't have to match to shoot well but I prefer it like you have it! The azula and those grips look flat out sexy together. :]

You saw the dead one as well? Also seen a dead javelina there a month ago.Pigs love using the greenbelts (hiking trails) all thru the valley and now we got cats following the herds. This is what happens when archery is shut down south of this line and North of that line and East of this 3rd and West of that 1. 😡
-
They are all around my house i-17 and happy valley and every mountain and wash in phoenix Saw 1 dead by az archery club couple weeks back and 1 dead under overpass at 101 and 27th av maybe 2 months back. 1st thing that used to visit a pile of corn or a juicy cantaloupe was a mess of coons, 2nd fox, 3rd yotes, 4th quail, 5th pigs, 6th bobcats. I miss urban arrow slingin!
