All that aside i think differednt brands fit different feet better.. currently im in KEEN due to wide forefoot .. post millitary with carrying 60lbs less it was danner 650 last=is like floor plans that danner was perfect for skinny heel and low instep and and some killer boots built on that last. find the last that works for your foot where you are in life currently and stick with it but expect change with age, weight, injuries/medical issues If getting steel toe buy toe guards or at least strip oil from toe w/acitone and light sandpaper then apply clear or black shoe goo this will protect leather from abrasive materials wearing through to stell when kneeling down.. **i more tip.. boots are for walking, boots are the tool you use to protect your feet.. hammers are for hammering. shovels are for digging.. moral is use proper tool for the job this wil help boots last longer. dont kick stuff with toe instead of using hammmer of some sort and dont dig holes with heel or toe. pry bars for lifting toe caps of boots are not!

I managed red wing store for few years and sold many boots to some seriously hard working people and i must stress cleaning and oiling are huge factors in boots survival also maiking sure the dry properly or leather just rots out. the 1155 was always real popular for work/western. If heel is worn at angle get them replaced so you dont walk leather over.. they can just replace heel. i am 6'2" and 260 so i tend to go through more heels/soles that your average buck fifty cowboy that is just how it goes and if dry rotting boot and heavy dude then well ya got a 6month boot no matter what brand. It is important to have 2 pairs so you can rotate and have pair when 1 goes in for resole and if removeable soles slide them up each night so boot drys. **Good boots should last for many years no matter the work cleaning boots more often for mining and concrete jobs a must. **if buying red wing like many others they have made in china line of boots so check and see if stamped made in usa DO NOT BUY BRAND THEY CALL "WORX"

I think that is reference to my boot size which is now sz 15 so not so accurate their either they just dont read all the way through things before they post trash. it is unfortunate more guys that got the shaft do not jump into discussion but i know many thiknk they will never get drawn again if they speak up.. It is pig, deer, and lion etc archery plenty of tags were available and some still are so before you say you would kill for something make sure you understand the whole issue at hand. i have never complained about draw odds especially since they always seem to favor me.. or should i say did.

And if you have been affected in any way or if you're just making stupid comments? ThanksHere's another stupid comment for you. I'm a archer currently hunting this season and have not been affected in any way, but then again I didn't wait till last minute or go to Whalemart to acquire a tag either. If you must know my secret on how I did it, here it is. I simply hopped in my jalopy (about a month or so ago), drove to the Mesa G&F office, walked right up to the counter, got the tags I needed, paid the bill and walked out 5 minutes later. I then drove back home with the same sticky tags I've had for the 17 years I've been hunting. Pretty easy if you ask me! Good for you that is awesome so check next to your name for also sefish and could care less about other hunters or the fact that g & f would have screwed him also if ya wornt so darn squared away. bravol zulu for you sir.

You might have missed beginning of all this. first i question a fall 2013 hunt in spring 2014 regs. 2nd the fact that g & f told walmart, sportsmans etc they were not permitted to sell tags till 1st these are my issues if they are not yours then well gr8. personally i feel that it was wrong to put the screws to many archers by not having same tags available at same places as always. PERIOD THE END!

A topic in a thread is about as much of a chance as you can get to decide to click or not click on it? i.m not sure i follow why people say this.. if i post in some new hate g & f section your still gonna swoop in like mother bird and try to protect them... i just dont see how anyone can argue points i have brought up? you either agree we should all have equal opportunity and g & f should not be able to just add and subtract hunts and sell tags on town or only at office on a whim. if you agree with them it is just totally selfish and your saying crap on the other guy as long as i got lucky enough to figure it out.
