Seems G & F ran out of sticky backed paper for our tags so lion tag from wally world is paper and directions on back say it all.. maybe we could each dropa a bottle of rubber cement off at our local G & F since they are having such troubles paying for supplies. Guess they wanted to make sure no litter???? -
Looks like trophy to me! congrats truword1 Hey is the other guys deer mocking us?

These farmers would rather not have 100 pigs in their alphalpha.

They have many bedding areas depending on time of year sun exposure etc.. BUT they have 1 main place and few emergency get away shelters. the only way to ever find all of this is to be way above them and watch what they do time and time again when they are relaxed and when they are spooked. rarely does a pig just take off without a spot in mind to go. maybe for 2 seconds after a shot he runs without direction but after that right back on course. Urban and farm pigs really super nocturnal and really do not sleep in cuz pig hunting i have arrived at their front door many times at sunrise and already had them up feeding and even in light rainfall. if you reallllllllllly know their address they are very predictable. finding new herds and patterning is the tricky thing like all hunting. Imho pigs do not like other herds in their home range. i have seen some crazy battles when 2 and even possibly 3 herds intersect and it is not pretty. i hunted private property area for 5-6 yrs that had anywhere from 15-60pigs at all times and every animal i shot had torn cheeks or missing eyeballs or ears.. they do not share real estate well. when they come together there is immediate pecking order established and if you are within a mile you will here this take place. I can turn around probably 9 out of 10 herds i jump (9.9) using their vocals and get a shot then bring back again and again.. just takes time with them up close and personal and practice time making the noises and looking stupid in your car at intersections practicing grunts and squeals etc. just need to learn appropriate timing for each thing and volumes must be tested in every circumstance..

Yes and it was basically new less than 1/2 box through it. Put a steel shot 26" barrel on it and now someone in az is slaying yotes with it.. shame to split up this gun from original parts but also a shame to let it sit and go to waste. original 30" full choke barrel kinda obsolete with steel shot laws but one heck of a gun with much potential. if original and not tampered with they do not shoot low brass....... i will keep eyes and ears open Don and let you know if i find another. -

***Licenses are now valid for one year rather than just for the calendar year. If you buy your license from a dealer or through the online draw process (when it becomes available), your start date (the date your license becomes valid) will be your date of purchase. If you buy your license through the paper draw application process, your start date will be the published deadline date for that draw. If you buy your license separately at www.azgfd.gov/eservices/licenses.shtml or from a Game and Fish office, you can name your own start date up to 60 days beyond the date you purchase it, and it will be valid for one year from that date. Please note that if you are planning to apply for the 2014 elk/pronghorn draw, make sure you choose a start date that is no later than the draw deadline day (Feb. 11, 2014), as you must have a valid license as of that date to be eligible for the draw. -

Pigs all over 20b but man mucho private property and residents behind pleasant dont like to allow trespassers no matter how you bribe them. also beware of the no trespass signs with machine guns on them, and if you come accross the straw house just put your foot down hard on gas pedal and duck your head!

They be tough lil dudes! my 2nd biggest pig was shot by 2 of my friends days apart then i killed him.. friend had shot him and recovered arrow and broadhead destroyed so figured head shot?? 2nd guy was superficial wound. when i killed he had laceration on side pretty deep and the first guy had shot in pig face and knocked out 4 teeth and within 1 week his cheek had healed closed ! FREAKIN TUFFFFFF LIL DUDES. Bravo for sure on tracking and trying to claim your critter. had that happen few times and it makes me sick each time.

Does there really need to be two threads on you bitchin about the "system"? If you don't like it quit using the "system". There was plenty of time to get a tag and not miss a day. I dont think im only archer that has a problem with how all this is going down.. i am very glad things are all working out nicely for you.
