Another example of bad hunting ethics
hoghntr replied to peckl1's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I luv the birds but hate the people!!! i will gladly choose less birds over possibly getting hurt. Every year it seems as if stupid gets StUpiDeRRRRRRRRRRRRR Getting rained on is one thing but getting peppered by line drive bird shot is not so cool. Have fun and stay safe if possible hunt before work or after and not during Holiday weekend when the drunks are still drunk at 5:30 am. Like the illegals taking over Southern AZ there is nothing we can do about stupid, irresponsible, dangerous, unethical people who choose to carry guns and shoot at critters they will always bring shame to the game.*** well we can make sure our kids are raised to have ethics. -

everything... bought used and guys probably swapped cams and shipped?? just way out of timing.. i have never worked on a bow before like this in press and such but friend walked me through it and we got it spot on i would say.. cable twists and little draw sto adjustment and it is absolutely silent and punches paper clean as can be!!!!! it does not have the same amount of let-off as the Recluse does but it is a different cam.. this is the EV2X Athens cam and the Recluse uses EV2S.. im trying to get one of each of these babys so i can give everyone interested a idea of what Athens is all about.. just let me know if you ever wanna check 1 out.. i have Exceed on its way to me 37"ata uses ev2s cam, i really want a Affliction 35"ata uses ev2x cam.. i just need massive amount of valley like right up to the not safe might de-rail amount..im a big guy but have very bad arthritis and many surgeries so i have found smooth draw cycle and big valley also rock solid wall to be imperative for me as an archer to have in a bow.. you can tune them for less valley if shooting back tension etc. im expecting this exceed to arrive with no valley also due to prior owners competitive shooting

Im thinkin i need somebody who works on their own bows not a shop that has no time to do it right... i have a Athens Ibex bow i bought used and i know it is a excellent bow but i have no Valley.. it should have a nice valley.. so if someone experienced could help me out i have all kinds of info on these cams but need someone willing to take some time and do it the way athens cams need to be done.. i can read as you go for tutorial whatever it takes and if i need another set of cables and strings i will get it once you have determined they are incorrect.. i think this case is just not getting the attention it needs by techs who are busy.. i will pay if thats what it takes.. thx and God Bless, Mike 602-499-4136 im in North Phoenix area

The Recluse is absolutely amazing!!! Better than any bow i have ever shot, it is actually a pleasure to shoot. im sure the Ibex will be the same way but buying used i got my self into some sorting the problem out kinda issue... have a R-120 on the way=same bow as recluse have used exceed on the way also so i assume it will need a little tuning also
-
let off is in draw stop.. i believe my issue is all in the cables and string. i bought used and possibly this guy put wrong goodies on.. i need someone who can press parralel limbs 30 ata we could pull strings and cables and measure to start.. going to friends today to see if his rig will work.. pretty simple cams if you dont buy form someone who was experimenting.. sold my recluse to order HGO R-120 which is Christian themed bow of Recluse so instead of spider webs it has cross's in riser. and also I'm now Athens field staff! but gotta get this little bow up and running for season..

did i mention i have a few tags.... need help.... (: i know somebody out there is a bow tuning perfectionist... i know the bow is an excellent bow just nobody knows how to get it back to where it belongs. thx

This is a top of the line bow.. the top 4 may be top in sales but no longer are they the top in quality and performance!!! This is your chance to get a almost new 2012 bow for huge discount.. i would like to give someone in AZ the opportunity to experience Athens quality... i wanna do some customizing and change cams for draw so i would rather lose some money by selling and just order another one to customize and order in right draw for me of course.. so this is it.... when i hear from Athens tomorrow i will most likely pull off market if it makes sense financially.. First of all Athens has a lifetime fully transferable warranty!! bow is perfect but wanted you to know this is a gr8 company to buy from, top notch customer service!.. ** draw length specific 29" cams 60-70# cams ususally run used for $50 and new is $90 and same string is used when swapping cams so no string charge just new or used cams.. 3-4 weeks old im only selling to replace with same bow with 30" cams..oops! asking $575 Bare Bow with peep and wrist sling Recluse retails $799 + shipping Mike 602-499-4136 text or call $575 cash in hand by Sunday evening possibly Monday because i am either ordering new cams or buying same bow with better draw length for me.. BTW i shot 291fps at 62# with a ics 400 cut at 28" and 100 gr field point so this bow can shoot!!! i would like to sell this bow in AZ so at least 1 more person get to experience the Athens difference!!! By far the best bow i have ever shot!!! amazing smooth draw cycle, gr8 valley and rock solid wall!! if interested in purchasing i will meet you at Arizona archery club on deer valley where you can shoot it a few times and get the feel. ***warning*** dont come without money cuz nobody has disliked this bow yet.. it is seriously amazing. i have shot 29" for 30 years simply cuz i couldn't physically shoot enough to notice the difference. The Recluse is so pleasurable to shoot i could actually settle into it and realize i need more draw. always wondered how my much smaller friends shot same DL. so im gonna take my 30.8 draw up to 30 and see how i like it.. Features: Solid limbs EV2S Extreme Velocity Duo Cams TRCS (Torque Reduction Cable Slide) SS stabilizer and string stop inserts Anchor string stop Bowjax dampening system Sick string system 2 pc inlayed grips Rear pivot limb pockets Solid wall draw stops Sealed cam bearings Fit and finish that is second to none in the archery industry IBO Rating: 330+ fps Axle-to-Axle: 32" Brace Height: 7" Draw Weight: 40lb to 70 lb limbs (10 lb increments) Letoff: 65%-80% (adjustable) Weight: 4.2 lbs Draw Lengths: 25"-30" half inch increments (DL specific cams)

best youth 243 rifle is the adult rifle you buy and have stock cut and recoil pad put on. (: IMO many of these youth guns are made so light weight they get the snot beat out of them shooting it . i still have my first 243 Rem 700 we cut stock and i am now 40yrs old and if you asked me to choose one rifle to survive on it would be that gun i got 31 years ago... again just MO good luck and whoever it is for i hope they have much success in the field.

ATHENS HGO=HALLOWED GROUND OUTDOORS man this is a sweet bow. all the Athens quality packed into 30" ATA HGO is a Christian hunting program that has joined with Athens to make this bow for HGO ministry funds...the bow has cross's and Romans 1:20 is inside bottom limb.. it is very cool reminder while enjoying His Creation... many of us run to the outdoors and never understand why it is such an escape for us.. Romans 1:20 sheads the LIGHT on that.

i think new are $100 shipped i have found used for $50 but you use the same string, string is perfect and their factory strings are awesome!!! no peep twist at all. seriously doubt i will ever buy another brand again... all my bowtech, hoyt, and pse sold after 3 shots on this bow and it wasnt even totally set up yet. (: its like a cadilac... beautiful, comfortable to touch and drive and faster than many sportscars that cost much more money!!!
