first time i ever witnessed was dove hunting.many years ago. i would clean all birds in field, next am nothing would be left except lots of pig tracks. all season same thing. years later i helped a friend arrow a javi behind pleasant, cleaned pig and left. i went back next day to huntmyself and found all remains gone, pig tracks stomped quite deep. no other tracks period. pigs had powdered the area... WHEN I WAS A KID, I WOULD WATCH OUR MEET PIGS LAY IN MUD WITH SNOUTS STICKING OUT LIKE A SNORKEL, WHEN CHICKENS WALKED OUT PICKING AT MUD PIGS WOULD ATTACK LIKE CROCODILE. THEY WOULD JUST LAY THERE WITH FEATHERS HANGING OUT OF MOUTH. PRETTY COOL TO WATCH. TO SUM IT UP, PIGS ARE OMNIVOROUS CANNIBALS!!!!

ferrel, yes. I FOUND ONE IN 1998 IN UNIT 33. FOUND IN BED MY JAVELINA CAME OUT OF WHEN SHOT. SKULL ALSO HAD BULLET HOLE IN SKULL. COYOTES OR EVEN JAVELINA MIGHT HAVE PLACED UNDER TREE. YES, JAVELINA EAT MEAT! I TOOK SKULL IMMEDIETLY TO GAME AND FISH, I THOUGHT I FOUND SOME JAVIS ON STEROIDS. MY JAVI WAS HUGE SO I FIGURED THAT WAS DAD. AND OF COURSE G AND F TOLD ME IT WAS FERREL. i use something called nature seal. it is a product made by VASQUE, vasque is a part of red wing. its either a waxy or clear bluish product, i use the liquid/clear greenish blu product which is now scent free. i wear size 14 so i buy it buy the gallon PLUS I END UP CLEANING FRIENDS BOOTS LIKE BOWHUNTER4LIFE.and it lasts forever. gallon is over hundred bucks i order from red wing at 59th av and bell?? I MANAGED A POPULAR OUTDOORS BACK IN THE DAYS AND THEN A RED WING BOOT STORE ON 32ND ST AND BELL, COMBINED PROBABLY 8 YEARS OF WORKING WITH BOOT LEATHER EVERY STINKIN DAY. TRY SMALL BOTTLE NATURE SEAL, WHEN YOU LIKE IT BUY GALLON AND CLEAN AND CONDITION AFTER EVERY SEASON. DO NOT LET MUD SIT ON BOOTS. GOOD LUCK.

myself and bowhunter4life went to Riverside for my bachelor party. had some good boars. i emptied my quiver, i shot straight into boars side armor. half day spent shooting, tracking, and evading really mean wounded boar. Chuck the owner brought dog in that saved my but. boar charged Chuck even on quad. i started feeling like 45 on side for back up wasnt adequate. boar wanted to rip me up. morral of storie is i am ready to go again. ferrels not really wild there. one of our friends smacked pig on but while it was mating while i videoed. exotics also not very challenging, but good experience. i might go next week during week so its private. I don't expect it to be challenging like hunting coues or desert mulies. I'm looking at it as a practice session for the fall hunts & of course it'll be fun to bring some bacon home. Matt S. not sure of taste?? we packed a whole lot of meat into ice chest and i think some did not cool off enough. it is good practice. russians can be tough. they have huge armor plate you need to shoot quartering away, (archery???) slide arrow behind plate. picture where arrow coming out not going in. last trip was funny. just bowhunter4life and i. after i shot russian i took a black hawaiin sheep shot him butting heads with other ram. had to track at night. found alive, things immedietly went south. i decided to shoot with pistol. 4life held flashlight. leaning off side of steep hill shot and missedcouple times3rd time hit and it charged. i put gun right against him as he passed and squeezed off. sheep was gonna head butt bowhunter4life. i week before my wedding, lucky i didnt end up crippled on that hunt. are you going on weekend?? better during week not socrowded. how many people going?? mm

i will keep that in mind. the only reason i am selling it is im sick of storing it at families house. me haves no property/space. tried talking mike into cabin truck. i would have got it running again. ITS ONE HECK OF A WOOD TRUCK. I CUT WOOD WITH SOME FRIENDS WHEN I LIVED IN CHRISTOPHER CREEK. PAID THOUSAND BUCKS TO DO BUNCH WORK ON IT ABOUT 5-6 YEARS AGO, STARTED IT AND RAN IT FOR HOUR OR SO ONCE MONTH FOR YEAR THEN LET IT DIE AGAIN. NOT SO SMART. MECHANIC NEEDS MY BABY. bowhunter4life told me about that. problem is i dont have a helicopter. it seems like im always getting conflicting reports on texas. i guess i need someone to tell me they've hunted a ranch half dozen times and it is always awesome. and if hogs are eating texas how come we have to pay so much to hunt them???

thanks, i forgot about them. i hunted those crazy pheasants once. i didnt know how they planted birds till dog pointed, handler shuffled feet and eventually punted the on conscious bird from the head spinning he had received a few moments earlier. funniest thing i have ever seen. he picked it up broke its neck and shoved it into my vest. funny goodoleboys should say that. i have BENELLI SUPER BLACK EAGLE and was promised it would shoot every shell. i quickly found out on a mixed bag hunt that regular bird shot, low brass does not have enough energy to cycle chamber. has to atleast be upland high brass. i do agree turkey hunting is gr8 and sometimes really frustrating.

i have pictures of javis feeding all night in deep snow while snowing. I HAVE BLOWN MANY CHANCES WALKING IN AT FIRST LIGHT. the people who go out at 9:30 may shoot pigs. i have killed many at noon, but this i guarantee, opportunity is there at sunrise in good weather or BAAAAAAAD. LEARN TO SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE, IT WORKS ALMOST EVERY TIME GOOD OR BAD WEATHER.
