I hear ya hard to go solo if planned hunting as a pack. pretty common to have issues like cysts with prosthetics that said i have met a few men and women who have chosen amputation over years of battling infections and or insane pain or have not had choice as infection would have killed them. Praying for your partner and his full recovery! I have all my limbs it just seems they are always under construction 😕

It happens. had a buddy tell me a Texas story where he shot pig from rear and arrow came out center of skull and pig spun and ran straight at his blind with broadhead coming straight at him. L.O.L. wish I had recorded the story as he told me he launched himself off his chair in blind cuz he thought he was gonna die from his own broadhead. Javelina turned just before blind and fell dead just behind it. L.O.L. I know I have shot a few in face and they sure go down quick if broadhead is in the eye. had 1 facing me that I tried slipping arrow down her side and between shoulder and neck and turned out I slit her from nose to shoulder. 😮 was very "Glasgow smile" looking and very dead pig since it exited her bungholio

Military service haunts me Brother! Achilles had mass on it I assume as my fingers have had (soft tissue inflamatory disease/Gulf war crap) so not worried about anything bad just sucks cuz it flat out took me out of hunting last fall. Did fill deer tag but only cuz Mike O bowhunter4life and azhuntnut David went with and hauled deer out for me. Elk was a fail could not hike at all. Really wanted to go arrow a pig but wanted this thing as calm as possible for surgeons to be able to work on without it all swollen. had heel spur so with my arthritis that may be what caused Achilles issue???? And when I'm healed gotta have hands done again. 😡 I wake like a corpse my hands all stuck closed

People underestimate what a pair of 10's can do on a tripod. I never liked 10's then found myself only having 10's for tripod this last Spring and dang sure was impressed. Granted you may not be scoring a coues buck at 1000+ yards but you sure will see more action/movement with that field of view. 10x50 just gets to big and heavy and might as well carry 12's. Slc 10x42 hd 👍
