Stag arms Flat top upper and 16" barrel, 5.56 nato 1/9 twist. Been sitting for too long collecting dust. Has a YHM Phantom Flash Hider as you can see. It has an Olympic Arms Free float rail. Maybe total of 600 rds down it. It hasnt been babied there is wear so it is not pristine but it also isnt destroyed don't get scared away it has tons of life left in it. NO BCG or Ch...$360 SOLD- American Tactical lower NOT polymer never built multi cal lower. NIB $260 This is all from a build I started before it got bad and now I dont have the money to pay for the parts to finish it. If anybody wants the both of em I'll throw in a brand new Pmag for free. (Thats like a bonus of 15 to 50 dollars depending ) Open for trades prefer .40 or optics maybe a rifle no 243s 270s or 3006. Im pretty solid on my prices I think they're fair. SPF- Also have 1000 once fired LC 5.56 Brass for $125 which is about the going rate for em pretty much everywhere but backpage which is a lot more. I can trim, swage, size and tumble them if you want. $22 per 100 I figure most peopel who reload want to do that themselves though so you can pick. Let me know if your interested. And last I have 9 boxes of ammo PMC and American Eagle 180 rounds total. Make an offer on this stuff. I dont shoot factory loads anymore. Other trades I'm interested in: Reloading components 300 win mag (dies brass bullets etc) 223 (bullets powder) Maybe even a new press New swage tool .22lr ammo Optics (red dot) Bare Bow pretty open here to brand An AR stock Bipod Or just make an offer

There was a lot of 223 at cabelas today for 8.oo a box of 20. Didn't buy a single one. Apparently there are people who need it more than me.....

how much is 223 brass worth???
gauchoand replied to Big Browns's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Recently bought 500 type 1 brass (meaning all ready to load) for $65 dollars and I'm always looking for more. With all the work to prep once fired brass you might not get a whole lot for. Like if it has crimped primers that's a pain in the butt if it's been deprimed that's a plus. -
So..... I assembled my first AR-15 last October. That has kinda been a mistake. At the time I wasnt worried about buying mags or ammo. I did manage one pmag at $40 in December (ouch huh?). But, I still have never shot it and have no ammo for it. I have a lee reloader and was wondering if someone had a bit of the following: Powder any for a 223 load will work Small rifle primers Bullets. Not as concerned about bullets I have seen some still around. Dies I think I could find. Brass I already bought. I don't want a lot. Even if I could get enough to load two hundred rounds I would be happy as a clam. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price but I'm not looking to get gouged otherwise I'll continue to wait. Please let me know.

I think I'm gonna get it for saying this. As someone who has run their own cams I hate to hear of them getting stolen as I know the time and effort that goes in to them so i feel for you and the stolen cam. But, last year I never saw a camera, tree stand, or salt more than a quarter mile off road and always near water. I have learned to never put my cams on water or well established trails less than a quarter mile from a road. I try to hide mine in areas around water and move them more frequently to capture the local wildlife. Biggest bonus of this is knowing how animals come and leave the area. But all this mob mentality makes me worried to be near someone's cam and when I'm in the woods that's not something I should be thinking about. Let's not assume every hunter in your area is a thief. Let's face it I have seen up to 4 cams and 2 tree stands on single water holes before....some people are setting themselves up. Again I'm not condoning stealing but I am all in favor of a little more effort in cam placement. AND DON'T ASSUME IM A CAM THIEF IF I APPEAR ON YOUR CAM.

There are so many possibilities it's not even funny. To list a few nock placement, arrow stiffness, porpoising.....etc. Sorry that I cant be of more help. I hate to let others touch my bow so my first recourse would be recommending to find a copy of the Easton Bow Tuning Guide and go through it knocking the possibilities off the list. Its easy to find online.... Ah forget it heres a link http://www.eastonarchery.com/img/downloads/software/tuning_guide.pdf I keep a hard copy at home cause it's kinda my archery bible. It may seem a little dated but the basics are all there. If not find a good shop.

Well there are a few things that I have learned. I didnt stick with my first bow long. Lets be honest how much do you really know about what you want. So heres a suggestion: Looking back I would have bought my first bow as one I knew would hold its value the best. Let me say : "I DO NOT think Mathews are the best bows" but I know they hold their value the best due to the huge fanbase. I have bought and sold almost every mathews out there. Hands down you will loose the least money while you "Figure" archery out. The other side of this coin is sooooo many people love and worship their Mathews that its likily you will like it from the get go and stick with it. Either way its a good way to go. Currently have a Rytera. Favorite bow ever was PSE x-force 6hf. Favorite Mathews was the Legacy. Favorite Bowtech was the Allegiance. Hoyt never owned one they look ugly. Next someone said stick to Archery talk for used accessories. Im 100% with him I spend a lot of time over there and there are lots of good deals to be had. But know what your buying do your research. Someone said buy a good rest (Ultrarest or Ripcord) I agree. I'd just like to add stick with something thats full capture like those two it will make learning easier. Someone said a 7 pin site. Uh..... why..... hes learning not trying to win the triple crown. KISS ( Keep It Simple Stupid) is what I say. A good 5 pin is good enough I started with a 3. I like Bear Mountain I just like the guys I deal with at the archery counter. I dont know as much as they do but at least they dont make me feel dumb.

i don't think this is the moment for this kind of comments, i have kids and i can't imagine waking up in the morning and see them, imagine all those parents that lost their kids, we need to support them not make negative comments about anything else.don't mean to offend anybody with my comments. just my thoughts and prayers in a very difficult moment for all those people +1 Let's keep it classy out of respect there will be plenty of time coming up. -

favorite quote from Obama: " Most recently out in Aurora. You know, just a couple of weeks ago, actually, probably about a month, I saw a mother, who I had met at the bedside of her son, who had been shot in that theater. And her son had been shot through the head. And we spent some time, and we said a prayer and, remarkably, about two months later, this young man and his mom showed up, and he looked unbelievable, good as new." I love it..... Uh a few weeks ago I saw this guy.... Then 2 months later he!!!!! -
I have had that with a box of Remington core-lok in 30-30 I still have the ammo never fired it from like 8 years ago. But you don't understand what I really think about Remington stuff. I'd just rather not deal with them over 20 bucks
-
What we should do is see if a group of us could work out a deal with a manufacturer and get a bulk rate on stripped lowers.
-
Straw does not stop my field tips until I get to about 50 yards it just destroys fletchings and even at 50 it's pretty iffy.

SOLD- FS: $300 PSE xForce- Original Model (2007)

I'd be interested in just the bow how much for it -
Pretty good bow. I owned one not like Mathews new stuff but still good if you don't need speed..... Heck I would take one for free
-
3 blade ..... think hole compared to a nice 2" knife cut
-
Really thought these looked good!!! But.... I can fletch a lot of arrows for 20 bucks. I guess I'll still try em but there is no way I can afford to refletch 3 dozen arrows with these($102.94). They should eliminate some of the packaging and save some money.

What a bunch of scabs
-
Haha I was thinking servers like for serving bow strings... Have those
-
how was the original string stop removed. cut? unbolted?
