I don't think that anyone would have that info since you can use any legal weapon on a sheep hunt. I don't remember if G&F asks what weapon was used when you do the required checkout. Did they ask you last year when you checked in your great ram,Smitty?

Yep, about the end of that era of Country greats. Used to ride with my Dad in his 65 GMC 2 wheel drive pickup listening to all those great singers while hunting in northern AZ. Could only get it during the day though because KALF am radio signed off the air after sunset.

My thoughts exactly. They discontinued the show "American Guns" because it had guns on it obviously, which I thought was very well done and entertaining. It was about a family run gun shop in Colorado. After seeing the "Chasing Tail" show, I thought that they were just anti gun and not anti hunter. After seeing a couple of episodes, I think that they might be anti hunting also and just trying to make hunters look bad with this show.

I had a Bond snake slayer and didn't like the way the trigger had to be pulled for it to fire with a live round. Empty it was fine if you dry fired it but was very frustrating when trying to shoot something. I sold it and got the Taurus public defender. Much better with 5 shots instead of 2.

That is a beautiful Muley. Nice main beams and long pts. The picture with the whitetail and Muleys in the truck is unique. Pretty sweet to hunt them both in the same area. Eastern WY ?

I have the Taurus Judge public defender which is a little smaller sized Judge. It shoots the Federal copper plated round ball .410 loads in an almost perfect square patern every time. I would think that you could at least get a few of the 4, .36 cal balls in a vital area even under extreme circumstances. Nice gun to keep by the bed.

Looks like we should call or Email Senator Flake and thank him for not supporting the gun grabbers this time! -
The Senate is discussing and probably voting on the gun background check (registration and other gun control tacked on it) today. All we can do is keep contacting our representatives to let them know how we feel, TODAY. The Ruger webpage has an easy way to contact them all very quickly.

Roy, Is there a list of all the award winners trophies with their scores somewhere? -
I have an open box with about 90 of the 140 gr Berger VLD hunting bullets. Looking for some of the 168 gr bullets of the same type.

STOLEN BOW IN THE TUCSON MOUNTAINS
azbow replied to justin_birch's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Must happen a lot. I found a really nice Mathews bow in a parking area on the Fain road in 19a one night. I was the last one there, coming out after dark and noticed something white on the gound by the fence. The white vanes on the carbon arrows in the quiver caught my eye. I waited around for a while to see if the owner would come back but then went on to camp. I felt bad about the guy worrying about his bow all might. I went back there extra early the next morning and there was the guy that owned the bow. He looked pretty rough from worrying all night and wasn't dressed to hunt that day. He took the bow with hardly a mumbled "thanks". That bow had a laser range finder on it and some other nice equipment, way better and more expensive than I had, but I felt good to get it back to the owner. I bet whoever found this bow will be trying to find the owner also. Hope you get it back soon so you can keep chasing those big bucks!
