Great job Lance and the 4 hunters. Not easy to find the buff up there and then close the deal on them. Most of the hunters last year must have found that out the hard way. Then you need a few strong backs to get them out. Awesome AZ trophies! What did Stuarts big beast score?

It is something that has gotten my attention also. There were many ideas posted that are probably right on. However, I don't think that "good game management" is one of the contributing factors. With all the extra hunts that G&F has thrown at the resource, it makes it all the more amazing that these monster bucks are showing up! Those bucks aren't going to get to the age that it takes by being in country that has 6 differant rifle hunts and 2-3 months of archery hunting. They must come out of country that sees very few hunters during the year.

Ok, Lots of people know all about this monster. How about posting the pics for the rest of us......

Seen one in December on a sheep hunt 2 yrs ago and he buzzed us! Have also seen a couple in January during archery Javelina hunts and it was freezing at night. Never forget to watch for them in AZ!

Some rugged peaks but access is way to good. Thousands of winter visitors in the Quarzite area have pounded quad trails everywhere.

Great trophy wall! The pics of that archery buck turned out a little fuzzy, especially the horns...... How are you getting your bear mounted?

Allen, let us know what you think about your new rest. I have shot whisker biscuits for years and still think that they are the best hunting rest. When I got my new Z7, I decided to try a drop away and got the Trophy Taker. It works good and has the arrow containment that I wanted with broadheads flying around my wrist. However, I am thinking of going back to the WB because I don't trust the drop away completely. The cord could come loose at the wrong time or something else. Probably won't happen, but the WB is as fool proof as anything could be and I have shot broadheads and Blazer vanes pretty consistantly at distances as far as my sights will allow. I can't tell that the TT is any more accurate than the WB. Jim

Thanks Ernesto and daryl ! One more thing, do I need to get my gun and optics registered at the customs office in Phx to get them back into the US, or can they do that in Nogales when I cross? Do you get special auto insurance for Mexico? (guess that was two more things)

Does everyone need to stop and get a Visa or will a passort take the place of the Visa? What do we need to take for proof of vehicle ownership? Title? Are there signs in English at the Nogales entry to tell where the places are to get in and out of Mexico? Customs, USF&W office etc.?
