Really weird year......bulls bugling all night long and chasing cows around like it was the first week of October. They're just a month too late. Watched a 6x6 breed a cow this am.......that will be a late calf!

It's a ridiculous law, IMO. All they needed to enact was no archery hunting within a municipality (city/township limits). Problem solved.

Just saw a pretty good bull with about 50 cows go through my field.....bugling his head off. Better bugling last night than the last few days for sure. Hope It gets better for those tag holders.

Most dirt tanks are dry......worst monsoon on record. With some spring rains and a decent winter, the elk seem to have topped out well.
