1980.........things have changed up there since then. I wish I had old hunting photos.

I'd like a Colt Python. I just got a Sako Finnbear 300 Winchester that I really like.

I have horses too and thought about it. The problem is I'm usually hunting myself or helping a friend. I guess you could stable them in a good unit in a place where hunters could contact you easily. Just like the butchers do with the coolers.

Nobody is going to get into those. Nice work. I don't have a trail cam. Maybe someday.

The older wood stock Tikkas 595, 695 actions, or what ever they were, were good. I don't know about the new ones. How about looking for an old Sako A series or older like this one.This is a 300 Win.

I know how it feels. I lost my 12 1/2 year old german shepherd to cancer on Feb 1st of this year. He was the best dog I ever had. He would touch my face at night just to know that you were there. He's barried in my yard. I got two more German Shepherds. Both were pups and both 4 months. One of them is very lucky to be with us. Long story...... They have an acre to play so I rescued the second one. She is beautiful with a long coat. They say time heals all wounds. I wouldn't say that. I'd say you were lucky to have such a dog. If you have a another so good, then you're a lucky man indeed.

How does it shoot? What ammo does it like?

Thanks, I haven't been in there in years. I heard they had a new gunsmith, and he's good. I also might check out some used rifles for elk season.
