I love old posts that get resurrected! Jeff

You are welcome. I have not hunted WT in 23 but I have hunted elk in 23 and it was one of the units I put in for this year. I live in Safford and have driven through the unit a lot over the years and see WT frequently around the areas I mentioned. I have spent time in AZ unit 27 which is up against a lot of unit 23 and the WT habitat flows well between the states. Since I live close I get a lot of good information about 23 and have heard that bears are common and lions are lions, you rarely see them even if populations are high. I would buy a bear and lion tag. Jeff

Thanks for the heads up. Jeff

If you want to transfer the tag to me, I'll take it. LOL! I put in for several NM hunts and got nothing this year. Hunt up against the AZ state line behind Alma/Glenwood or west of Mule creek. Jeff

Let us know how the hunt goes! 27 is fun, I've had that tag four times in the last 11 years and had a blast every time. I never felt like I needed to pack in anywhere to get away from people to still have a good hunt but remember other folks will be wanting to do the same as you and you may run into folks in the Bear Wallow or the Blue too. Oh, yeah, Scott Adams knows lots of wilderness in 27, like Sun devil said. Jeff

So you are asking $520 for the 8 pound jug of Varget? Jeff -
Looking for a good multi use vise and I like the REAL Avid Master Gun Vise but it is made in China, of course. I came across the Total vise and was wondering if anyone had an experience with it? I like that it is made in Montana, just a bit pricey. https://www.totalvise.com/product-page/m-4-work-station Thanks, Jeff

I'll be down that way this weekend and I'll take all 4.5 pounds. Sending PM Jeff

I just ordered the Kuiu 4000 Pro LT on the 25% sale the other day. I love the modularity options and will probably get a daypack if the 4000 works well for me. Cant wait to try it out. To answer your question I have used the Badlands Diablo as a daypack for years and it has never let me down. The Diablo packs optics, tripod, etc. easily and comfortably and in a pinch has brought out meat. Jeff
